It's embarrassing to say this, but, I definitely eat more than everyone else, um, sorry. It's embarrassing, but it was incredibly satisfying. Here's the story...
I can't drink beer or alcohol, so I didn't know what to do :D. Everyone was hold a glasses. I felt like I cannot do it without plates. I couldn't even speak. It felt empty. It was probably because my English was terrible, worse than anything, I admit.
But with confidence, I tried to mingle with everyone. That's called gathering, bringing everyone closer together and sharing ideas. On the first day, I cannot even say anything and chose to look at the food. So sad,, I forget to take any photos because I was so nervous.
On the second day, I go to RexKL with an empty stomach and not breakfast. We didn't get breakfast that time; it was a budget hotel, but I'm not the type to eat quickly. However, the event started on time, with breakfast at 9:00 AM and coffee included. But, I already had a flat white this morning...
Of course, it's a rare opportunity, drinking three cups of coffee from 9:00 AM to 5:00 AM. Will my stomach get bloated from the coffee? I'm already an expert at this. Hahahaha.
Free flow coffee like river, other food like nasi lemak in a glass (I shocked to see this), salad rolls, croissants with various toppings? I was so full on the second day, my stomach almost screamed, but the food was so delicious!
Not only that, there were even traditional Nusantara cakes (which are also traditional cakes from Indonesia). I'm very familiar with them and savory every bite. I don't know how many calories I've eaten, but I'm so scared I didn't count! I think I'll be walking around Petaling after this.
My husband said, be careful with your diabetes and don't forget your diet, but I can't do that during the Hive Fest. Even on the second day, I went crazy with my food. I even joined in the evening, continuing the party and eating at Da Bao Restaurant. I eat one dish that I thought was absolutely spectacular in taste, from what you can see how it can be this good! It a bun with lamb, it was so delicious with a strong taste and aroma, but it was a little spicy.
