Have you ever had a passion that you desperately want? Longing, wanting to possess, and always feeling like you lacked something? Isn't that a bad human trait when it comes to things called 'possessive'? In fact, possessiveness should only be like our relationship with God, not on a lower level.
But, this isn't meant to be possessive. Of course, it's just a preference. One of my favorites that I always repeat every time I go to Kuala Lumpur. In fact, anyone I recommend to Kuala Lumpur should stop by this place: Oriental Coffee.
Many Indonesians love the sachet coffee they sell as a very commercial souvenir. In fact, sachet coffee is easily found in various ranch markets; it's not difficult to find. However, I've never even drunk sachet coffee from Oriental Coffee, but I've always loved this drink for one reason.
One of my favorites and most favorite is roti polo, noodles, and butter coffee. I'm almost Taiwanese because of my preference for Singapore breakfast, Chinese breakfast, or Penang breakfast? Same but different. Maybe it's because it's different from the polo bun, which usually comes with srikaya toast with a boiled egg.
Don't worry, you can actually order any breakfast menu here, and of course, there's a boiled egg. But it wasn't breakfast time, it was approaching lunchtime, so I ordered the dry noodles, which seemed very large and complete.
Even with this much food, I devoured it with gusto. Like a starving person, because I deliberately skipped breakfast and decided to eat at Kopi Oriental at 12 noon. I don't know why it tasted so good, because one menu wasn't enough. So, I had two menus and a cup of coffee.
To be honest, I even want to order an iced mocha because it soooo appetizing from the book menu, but I knew it wouldn't be good for my blood sugar, which spikes so quickly and is dangerous for diabetes.
Although, I ended up walking around the mall for two hours, because that afternoon was my last day in Kuala Lumpur and I had to return to real life after a week here. I missed home, and I was back.
