One of my favorite things about travel is imagine a historical moment or tragedy in the place that i stand. For example, right now, i am in Old Bagan, which hundreds of years ago this is the center of Burmese civilization. It's fantastic, I feel like I've traveled back in time and imagine it. Does anyone else have similar thoughts?
I'm currently in the city known as the city of a thousand pagodas. In fact, there are over a thousand pagodas in this one area—amazing. That morning, as soon as the bus stop us at the transit terminal, we greet by pitch darkness. It was still 4:00 a.m., and despite no lights, there were still many people struggling to make money, like the taxi driver who took us to our hotel.

After dropping off some bags at the front desk and, of course, not being able to enter my hotel room because there was no early check-in at that time, I rushed to catch the sunrise on the electric scooter we'd rented. Luckily, everything was done in a flash, and I got to the electric scooter before sunrise.
Three kilometers from the hotel, I find some truly precious, an experience I will always cherish, witness the sunrise over Old Bagan, with its thousand pagodas, a view that is truly breathtaking.

That morning didn't even make me sleepy; my drowsiness was overshadowed by awe. Seeing the water balloons take flight, even though there were only two. The wealthy who could ride them truly made me feel incredibly happy. Even though I was not the one ride them, it was a sight that's very rare due to the low number of tourists visiting this city.
Watch the orange color change to blue, gazing at the surroundings and the pagodas lined up on the ground, the fresh, cool air, and the beautiful natural beauty and culture were all unforgettable. Truly, this trip was incredibly rewarding. Despite the bumps, I was incredibly grateful that morning for this view and this blessing.

There are many spots to catch the sunrise in Old Bagan. One was on a hill we found not far from several famous pagodas. It have been a shame not to capture it. Although I took off my jacket and was cold during the photo, it made up for it. I felt happier and relieved all my stress.
This hill is so beautiful that if you climb it, you can see quite a sweeping view. Try visiting here when you're in Old Bagan.

About Author
Hi! Let me introduce myself, its me Wita.
I'm just a woman who wants to write whatever's on my mind. I really enjoy cooking, occasionally traveling, and doing whatever I like. I want to live like a bird flying freely in nature. But I know I'm only human. So, I can only write freely like a bird that can fly with its two wings.
I'm usually very interested in new things. Let me be creative with at least these writings. I welcome any suggestions, as long as you mention them politely in the comments section. We can have a free discussion every now and then.
Don't think too much of me as you see in my posts. I'm just sharing what I have, and some of it is actually quite enjoyable to post. It's just that I don't really like posting bad things. I hope we continue to work together to build this Hive community.
