Have you ever fee scammed while traveling? Seriously, this is exactly what happen to me when I must to transfer from Siem Reap to Bangkok. This isn't about my bad brand reviews or anything. Rather, I had to reflect on myself and be more careful.
So, I put together an itinerary because this is a long trip. I plan to visit Siem Reap, Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Yangon, and Old Bagan. Those the five cities I want be traveling to this year. My plan was to travel from Siem Reap to Bangkok by bus. From what I knew, the journey would take 6-8 hours, depending on the busy immigration transit in Poipet.

I booked the bus and sae that it said we want be taking a sleeper bus. Since I have a very good experience with sleeper bus in Vietnam, I book the ticket without hesitation. Honestly, there is nothing suspicious about it.
Taking a tuk-tuk from the hotel, we left at 1:00 AM to the bus counter. The bus actually depart at 3:00 AM on our tickets, but checking in earlier have been helpful and allowed us to relax. After that, we were all told to board the bus, and I was able to relax a bit.
It turned out the trip to Poipet wasn't that long. I only managed to sleep for a little over two hours on the bus, but thankfully, I slept very soundly. We were dropped off right near the immigration entrance at 6:00 AM and finished checking in at immigration for over an hour.

Then, we gathered back together as a group and headed to the bus we were supposed to board for Bangkok. However, it turn out the bus we were suppost to board wasn't the first bus, but a very crowded minibus. I didn't realize the sleeper bus only go as far as the Cambodian border. I feel very sleep deprived and uncomfortable. Next time, you should to carefully check the bus you're taking, especially if it's cross a border between countries.

Thankfully, we arrived in Bangkok safely. I knew that taking a minibus might guarantee a punctuality because it's very agile on the road. It can weave through traffic and move fast, but I didn't expect to have to sacrifice my sleepiness for it.
Having a little experience with a sleeper bus in Cambodia heading to Bangkok, I'd probably recommend using a different, better bus.

Hi! Let me introduce myself, its me Wita.
I'm just a woman who wants to write whatever's on my mind. I really enjoy cooking, occasionally traveling, and doing whatever I like. I want to live like a bird flying freely in nature. But I know I'm only human. So, I can only write freely like a bird that can fly with its two wings.
I'm usually very interested in new things. Let me be creative with at least these writings. I welcome any suggestions, as long as you mention them politely in the comments section. We can have a free discussion every now and then.
Don't think too much of me as you see in my posts. I'm just sharing what I have, and some of it is actually quite enjoyable to post. It's just that I don't really like posting bad things. I hope we continue to work together to build this Hive community.
