I'd say this is a hidden gem! Definitely for those of you who love architecture and the beauty of human hands. Located in Phra Nakhon, you can easy find it on maps as it's very well known among locals. Of course, there aren't many temples like this, and tourists rare to find it. I also discovered this place by accidentally passing by on my way to a restaurant I was planning to go to, but I was very impressed from the front; it looked like a very large temple. ![IMG_9729.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/23wWvsx1c5yXUvgwWPftHuaKUW8FXLACDvuxnCLhGdg8QMJycxa47jFpsSFpprcYzfnyH.jpeg) ![IMG_9735.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/244e1hTaLn43ikdmvqoQmUvbc7rUiWqMSJbvCvswybZhKyVmUi413gCSdtFGqk3JkomeX.jpeg) ![IMG_9731.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/23ycY52jaw5Po74FsnGFVYnmQCGibEzDjHjuaGwCoggKBfNcWTDdYJKPQ8FEMLduPDHay.jpeg) ![IMG_9733.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/242NandN268if99hBBu6zAfPro8EV1NvQybWQz4mhAKNznGg4HfSktgJiZcRsz9RtcG5x.jpeg) ![IMG_9732.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/23uQnHp8qgAi1L8iHUC5Be7qehUiaDYkJVcPbSRWHggwxtYQH6ncUB3xU3A1N5NYq1GLi.jpeg) It turns out my hunch was right. I immediately looked for the entrance ticket counter, thinking this was like Wat Pho and other temples in Bangkok. But it turns out admission is free! I was even more delighted and wandered around, finding aesthetic angles to take photos. They say this is a temple that combine visual and spiritual elements. Wow, it was truly fascinating and it still early in the morning. I saw many people in beautiful and charming attire. They were wearing traditional Thai attire, shimmering with light. It look like a family, have a wedding at the temple. I didn't take a photo because it privacy, although I really wanted to. ![IMG_9756.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/242Y3YjMjr2mfzjKpFQiFAwRjbt5aVC2Lxhnws1x82nDNfn4mM1KJ9hLqyzRV6ytnGBdU.jpeg) ![IMG_9749.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/23vsJT8FTZbroyKCj44SEV1Wx7Cs1Z7tUAykbQ7XTCuvf6MGuoYiy4dBrWUFMveDFU79v.jpeg) ![IMG_9770.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/23zGTz7xs2vFYEKj35ozh9hFns7k6qBtVG1X9JGjQrxdMP3614iogiuyFhniWaqg5fHEb.jpeg) ![IMG_9766.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/242riVk7iHbSvgTfE2RRjq8PK8W3LJP9n8NMNSDtBdqTDVLKg843qsEeAeXo6H2DzMcNK.jpeg) ![IMG_9741.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/23yTYbXPMeJWm6TirPuDb7HdSJAr5Z4Zi4uBu5AbcR8xMNrrh6XPXFWstb4F5mkkfWWey.jpeg) You know, this temple is a symbol of the glory, progress, and pride of the Thai nation, established by King Rama V in 1869. There's information at the entrance. So, this is not just an ordinary temple, folks. There is an interest and eccentric story behind it. In the center of the temple complex, there's something striking: a stupa and chedi, each with colors that symbolize glory and wealth. Of course, the chedi and stupa are adorned with gold ornaments, making the eternity very tangible. One word I can describe this temple: glamorous. ![IMG_9745.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/23ycuPvffmXLdnKN5xZfKKAQyaoCcYYAoX2E3XBGfKrTw3f8mttxmsnwrGif6Xack72wR.jpeg) ![IMG_9753.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/2423o7cZEKg4A5tYuX2jn4wKJmCnMrMxdS1U7ENZiSxVAQAVUyCetJeTsTH58NKj7niqN.jpeg) ![IMG_9767.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/23ycuBWK2nKEU8pF7wT7UThc3nPPRgfmRuq5UCBDLrTAB4gG4MH8SvZB2fiUcLVhJ5uWY.jpeg) ![IMG_9754.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/aswita/23y8iuv6Aw1aJsrWch7uWt42NVHT1Fa5PsaEzjAdeUrGpa8cpA1WhzVxvHe4CDhpr4wHK.jpeg) It's not just about glamour, but also about finding serenity. As I mentioned, the visual and spiritual aspects are captivating, and you might find them only here. The spiritual and visual aspects blend in a harmonious harmony. This place is often used for ceremonies, anything, include like royal ceremonies. Of course, it's a must, because even though it not a grand palace, its striking architecture makes it a suitable venue for ceremonies. This temple is incredibly well maintained. You can tell just by look and feel it. Wow, I really enjoyed the journey, being able to enter the beautiful Wat Rachabophit, with its captivating and luxurious architecture. ----- See you the next time hive friends! ----- ----- Editing by Lightroom and VN iphone 11 ----- ----- -----
