Why do we obey laws? imagesource

There are different reasons to make law in a society To put things in place and order Any society where there is no law will be in a state of anarchy and disorderliness

This laws are made to protect the right of each individual from abuse by another individual It helps to solve conflict among two or more parties involved

The argument I'm putting in place is...

Do human naturally obey laws or they obey with the use of coercive measures put in place? imagesource

If humans naturally obeys laws then why do we have law enforcement agents or agencies? Why do we need them? Human are dynamic beings and are difficult to predict and we always have the freewill to do whatever we want, but in the process of exercising our freedom we tend to hurt others and care less of their situation as far as we are satisfied with what we do

So to protect everyone's interest while exercising freedom we need to put certain things in place

But human can naturally obey laws

imagesource The second question is do we need coercive measures to make human obey laws? As stated above that there must be a measure put in place it is a two side of a coin

Humans can be force to obey laws if only it is acceptable to be of general principles That is laws that are binding and practicable imagesource

If a laws is not of the general principles then human will in mass go against the law no matter the level of coerciveness
