Hi guys~~ ^^ Today I decided to draw Ermy, one of the new Holozing creatures. I have seen some fan art of Ermy long before but it’s was few days ago that I saw the post that revealed this creature so I thought I should draw Ermy time. I really liked this creature because it’s just toooo cute. Zingu and Ermy are the cutest ^^ For this painting, first I drew Ermy as it’s standing and is looking at us. I had no idea how the setting should be like so I decided to color the creature and let the background decision for later. I continued coloring and shading the character and then I decided to add fur so it would look more realistic. I used the hair brush I usually use for drawing the hair, for drawing the fur on the tail and like the result but it didn’t look good on the other parts of its body so I looked through my other brushes and found a fur brush and used it to apply fur on its body. I didn’t use it much because I didn’t want to overuse and make it look ugly. When I finished working on the body it was time to finally decide what the setting should be. I’m not good at painting settings and tend to leave the background simple but ever since I’m drawing this creatures I see the importance of the background because every one of this creatures belongs to a specific place. I thought Ermy should be living in jungle so I decided to draw leaves around it. In the end, I added little lighting around Ermy and then I thought of adding green light on its body as it’s the reflection of those little lights. I really liked how it turned out in the end and I hope you also liked it ^^
