Hi guys~~ ^^ Here’s my drawing of the water dragon, Tiderion. Last time I painted portrait of Emberion and I really liked the result. It was a challenge for me because I always draw human portraits. For this portrait I mixed the features of Tiderion and Tiderox. I like Tiderox’s ears and the mustache so I drew it like that and I also like Tiderion’s horns so I mixed all these features and drew this water dragon. ^^ I didn’t want the portrait to be so simple, with the Emberion, I drew fires as it’s coming out of his mouth and for this dragon I decided to draw something in the dragon’s hands and all I could think about was drawing a flower. ^^ After I drew the flower I decided to change Emberion’s gender and turn it into a female dragon because with that flower he might look feminine. So I also drew eyelashes for her too because that was the only way that could make it look like a girl. When I finished the sketch, it was time to color the skin, I shade and highlighted the skin and then went on coloring the rest of the features. The flower in her hands was not just a normal flower but a magical one. I wanted to paint the pink light that was coming from the flower on her body so that’s why I used darker colors for the rest of the drawing so the focus would be on the flower. In the end, I drew pink lashes for her and then worked on the little details. I also added pink little bubbles around her. ^^ Hope you liked it ^^
