Hi everyone~~ Here’s my new drawing of Gollum that I’ve been working on for weeks. At first, I thought it would be completed within a few days, but nah it just took more time than I expected. Every time I choose a reference for my next drawing I try to choose something that is more challenging, something that has something in it that I haven’t drawn before to practice and become more professional in realism. As for this drawing, it was his skin color.
The colors used for coloring his skin:
As you can see in the process, I had some problems coloring the background.. so I changed it a bit. Not by much... I mean it can’t be called change, but I decided not to draw some parts of the background and paid attention to the subject's details instead of the background's. Hope you like it~ I used a white pen to create the highlights in the eyes
