Hello Hive friends!I'm Abraham Ledesma Ignacio, but you can call me Chino.I'm a 41 year old Filipino, currently living in Zamboanga City,Region IX.I'm new to this platform, eager to connect with all of you and share my experiences, passions, and adventures.
My story is one of resilience, and I hope it inspires you.I believe that regardless of what life throws our way, good or bad, there's always a chance to overcome challenges and achieve our dreams. It's all about having faith and taking those brave steps forward.Let me take you back to my college days.I was a working student, balancing my studies with a job helping my uncle.During exam season,I found myself in a tight spot.I needed money to pay for my exams but was short on funds.I made a reckless decision and used the tuition money for a bet,and lost it all.My uncle was incredibly disappointed, but despite his anger,he still covered my exam fees. However,it was his final payment for my education. At that point,I dropped out of college.
Later,I found work doing landscape decoration for my uncle's business, helping with weddings, debuts, and other events.During that time,I met the love of my life, who is now my wife.We started living together, but my lack of education and stable job worried me.Then, she became pregnant with our first child. It was then that I realized I needed to make a change.I wanted to provide a better life for my family,so I decided to go back to school. With my wife's unwavering support,I re-enrolled to finish my degree and ultimately pursue a career in law enforcement. She also went back to work to help us financially.I continued to work in landscaping while studying, and my mother took care of our child. It was a challenging but rewarding journey.
Finally,I graduated college and passed the police officer exam on the first try.I received training at the PNP and proudly became a police officer. My wife, who also went back to school and graduated,is now a licensed professional teacher and is currently taking the bar exam to pursue a law degree.
This is me after the training center.First deployment.
My wife my 2 kids. This is the last day of training. Finally, graduate from the training center.I am very thin inside of the training center this time.

My wife's unwavering support has been instrumental in every success I've achieved. We have three beautiful and well-mannered children, and I am so grateful for the blessings in our lives. It proves that prayer is powerful – nothing is impossible with God's guidance.
This is my Family.
My three children.
Today, I'm serving as a Police Staff Sergeant, a position I was promoted to two years ago. In three years, I plan to seek another promotion, all while relying on God's guidance for my decisions and for our family.
Thank you for reading my story. I'm excited to share more of my life and journey with you here on Hive!
