Hey Hive Gardeners.
This morning after watering the garden i harvested one beetroot and one carrot, the first this season.
The beet and carrot greens went straight into the blender along with some lettuce, ginger & cacao powder, two bananas and a touch of Borax, to make green smoothies for breakfast.
i'll cook a big pot of veggies later, including the beet root & stems and the carrot to make some soup. i have no upper teeth at the mo. so only eating food i don't need to chew.
i'm also drinking lots of healing herbal tea, herbs collected from the #garden.

i'm having trouble with aphids and ants now on the zucchini & cucumbers, but i think i've got the cukes under control. i now clean the leaves every day and spray with a home made organic pesticide.
