Before I present my dessert of the day, I want to express how grateful and blessed I feel being part of this group of people passionate about cooking and being part of it is one of the exciting experiences I have lived. Today I bring you a very practical and elegant way to present the traditional milk cake with jelly that we share at every birthday party. This cake can be made in the mini presentation or also a large cake.

Antes de presentarles mi postre del día, deseo manifestar lo agradecido y bendecido que me siento formando parte de este grupo de personas apasionadas por la cocina y ser parte de ello es una de las excitantes experiencias que vivido. Hoy les traigo una forma muy práctica y elegante de presentar la tradicional torta de leche con gelatina que compartirnos en cada fiesta de cumpleaños. Esta torta se puede hacer en la presentación mini o también una torta grande.

Ingredients: 2 cups leavened wheat flour. 1 y 1/2. Cups of sugar. 1/2 cup butter. 2 eggs. 1 cup powdered milk. 7 grams of unflavored gelatin. 1/2 cup heavy cream. (Optional). 1 cup fresh blackberries.

Ingredientes: 2 tazas de harina de trigo con leudante. 1 y 1/2. Tazas de azúcar. 1/2 taza de mantequilla. 2 huevos. 1 taza de leche en polvo. 7 gramos de gelatina sin sabor. 1/2 taza de crema de leche. (Opcional). 1 taza de moras frescas.

Procedure: In a bowl place 1 cup of sugar with the butter and cream, then add one egg and beat until incorporated, add the second egg and beat again. Add half of the flour and mix, add 1/2 cup of powdered milk in a glass with water and dilute and add it to the wheat flour mixture and beat, immediately add the other half of the wheat flour and beat to obtain a slightly dense mixture.

Procedimiento: En un envase colocar 1 taza de azúcar con la mantequilla y crema, luego incorporar un huevo y batir hasta incorporar, agregar el segundo huevo y batir nuevamente. To make the gelatin, hydrate the unflavored gelatin in half a cup of water. Place a glass of water in a saucepan and the powdered milk, dilute avoiding lumps. Bring to medium heat and when it starts to boil add 1/2 cup of sugar and the cream, beat with a wooden spoon and add the hydrated unflavored gelatin, stirring constantly until all the gelatin is diluted. Place the gelatin in a plate and cut the blackberries in half and place in the gelatin, take to the refrigerator until it sets.

Para hacer la gelatina, en media taza de agua hidratar la gelatina sin sabor. Colocar un vaso de agua en una olla y la leche en polvo, diluir evitando los grumos. Llevar a fuego medio y cuando empiece a hervir colocar 1/2 taza de azúcar y la crema de leche, batir con una cuchara de palo y agregar la gelatina sin sabor hidratada revolviendo constantemente hasta diluir toda la gelatina. Colocar la gelatina en una placa y cortar las moras a la mitad y colocar en la gelatina, llevar a la nevera hasta que cuaje.
