This post will be about Ahonex, the only auction house for Splinterlands (at least that I know of), where you can list your items like cards, packs, lands, or any current and future tradable items. And, of course, biddings on auctions created by other users, let's see how to do it.
To list a card, you must select Cards. On the right, your current cards will appear. In the example below, I have Daria Dragonscale at level 2. The first option is to enter the starting price of the card, which I set to 5000 DEC. I left the reserve price blank (minimum acceptable winning bid). And the Buy Now price means that if someone wants to buy the card immediately before the auction ends, they can do so by paying the Buy Now price, which I set at 6,500 DEC. Finally, you can set the duration of the auction, from 1 day to a max of 7 days.
To list a card, 250 DEC are required. And when the card is sold, 5% of the price will be deducted, so for example, if a card is sold at 6500 DEC, you would receive 6175 DEC, which is definitely not good for low level cards.
To bid on a card, for example the image below shows a gold Furious Chicken, the first card of 0 mana in Splinterlands, you simply need to enter the price in Dec you want to pay, and click Place Bid. I bid 110 DEC, but since this auction will end in 2 days, someone will surely bid more than me.
There are a lot of cards being auctioned, some regular foils from level 1 to max level, gold cards, and cards from the early expansions, alpha, beta, and even totems, black foils, and lands. There are low level cards with a starting price of just 100 DEC, of course, they will increase over time, but usually the winning users get those cards for less price than in the market, so it's a good option if you want to get a card by paying less, of course, you should bid in the last seconds of the auction, so as not to be outbid.
