Luckily, the first card was a legendary one, the light unit, Sola Ranjel. And I got 4 more rare cards than the 5 guaranteed. I didn't get any gold cards this time, but the legendary one was enough, after all, it was a good pack opening.
I finally leveled up my Sola Ranjell to level 2, where she gains the Cleanse ability, which allows her to remove the negative effects (such as poison and burning) from the frontline allied unit each round. I like to summon her in battles with low mana and when the little league modifier is active, which only allows units of 4 mana or less. Ranjell is an excellent support unit, and the higher her level, the more she will help.
And my Isgald Vorst is now at level 7, he only gained +1 armor, so there's not much difference, but that extra point of armor is always welcome, you never know how it might change the outcome of a battle. I like to summon him with the archon Elias Max, who grants the armored strike ability, so Isgald can attack first using his armor. This allows him to have a greater chance of defeating enemy units faster and, therefore, gain stats thanks to the bloodlust ability.
It feels exciting to see my gladiator card collection grow. What I like most about them is that they can be played in ranked mode, well, only when the Are you not Entertanied modifier is active, but when this happens, gladiators can give the team a huge advantage, as they generally have better stats than other cards. That's why I like to level them up so they are more useful in battles. I currently only have 3 level 2 legendary cards and the rest are at level 1, so I hope to get more in the next opening packs.
