Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. This time I will share a battle in the wild mode in the champions league, most of them with cards from the chaos legion.
In this battle, there are only two active modifiers. The first is Even Stevens, which forces players to use only units with even mana costs. And the second modifier is Four's a Crowd, so only a max of 4 units per team are allowed.
The first player uses the rare summoner, Kelya Frendul, who has a beautiful spooky skin. Kelya grants +1 armor and speed to her units. And the second opponent uses the legendary archon, Elias Max Pruitt, who grants +1 melee attack power to his melee units and +1 armor to all his units. And also granted the Repair and Cleanse ability to his last unit, who is Riverboat Captain.
Both players used the legendary whale Baakjira, which is resistant to magic attacks thanks to its void ability. Additionally, it reduces the speed of enemy units by 1 and increase the health of its allies by 1. And it can restore a third of its health each turn.
The second unit they used is Deeplurker, a melee unit that while in the backline, will attack the enemy unit with the lowest health. Additionally, it has a 50% chance of applying poisoned to the enemy unit when attacking. And passively, while alive, it reduces the melee attack power of all enemy units by 1.
The difference, apart from the summoners, was that the first player used the ranged unit, Igor Darkspear, who has a 50% chance of stunning the enemy unit, preventing it from making any move for one turn. And the other unit is Captain Fellblade, who while in the backline, attacks the enemy unit in the last position. And passively increases the health of all her allies by 1.
On the other hand, the second player summons the melee unit, Celestial Harpy, which has the flying ability. Additionally, she has the opportunity ability and their attacks will always hit thanks her True strike ability. And his other unit is Riverboat Captain, who has the Blast ability, and the Affliction ability. Additionally, it deals double damage when attacking units with no attack.
Battle
In the first round, Riverboat Captain defeats Igor Darkspear with the blast effect after attacking Baakjira.
In the second round, Captain Fellblade defeats Riverboat Captain.
In the third round, Captain Fellblade defeats Celestial Harpy, and then the gold Deeplurker defeats the regular one. And in the fourth round, Captain Fellblade defeats the gold Deeplurker.
The gold Baakjira withstood the attacks of Captain Fellblade from round 5 until the round 24, where Fellblade was defeated by the fatigue effect. After that, the fatigue effect damaged both Baakjiras in each round. Finally, in round 29, the gold Baakjira is defeated by the fatigue effect, receiving 9 points of damage.
Thanks to the attacks of Captain Fellblade during the fatigue rounds, the gold Baakjira had 2 fewer health points than the regular Baakjira, allowing the regular Baakjira to survive longer than the golden one.
This time the rare summoner Keyla with Captain Fellbalde, managed to defeat the legendary archon Elias Max. Unfortunately, Riverboat Captain was not luck to apply the afflicted status to the regular Baackjira, because if this had happened, the lineup of Elias Max would have won. So, luck was the decisive factor in this battle. Anyway, it was cool to see some old cards on the battlefield, especially Baakjira and Deeplurker.
