Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. This time, I'm going to analyze the units with the ulund bloodline from the new reward cards (conclave arcana); there are four of them. First, let's learn what ulunds are in the lore of Splinterlands.
There are 10 ulunds from the conclave arcana edition, and only 2 from the rebellion edition. Bella Ratajowlski is the archon who grants the shield ability to any ulund summoned by her, this is very useful, as it reduces damage received from physical attacks by 50%.

And there is also an ulund from the chaos legion, and another one in the foundation edition.

Now, let's see what abilities the new ulunds have and whether they will be aggressive or more defensive, or perhaps a combination of both.
Tandi Janda
Tandi Janda starts at level 1 with the Wingbreak ability, so regardless of its position, it will always attack the enemy unit with the flying ability and when attacking flying targets, will deal +2 damage. At level 2, it gain the slow ability, which reduces the speed of all enemies by 1. At level 3, it gain the Lookout ability, so its adjacent allies will take 1 less damage from attackers with sneak, snipe or opportunity. In addition, enemy ambush attacks will be reduced by 50%. And at max level, it gains the Scavenger ability, increasing its max health by 1 each time any unit is defeated.
A killer of flying units thanks to its first ability. Its other abilities don't quite convince me, as they are more defensive than aggresive. I would say this ulund will perform best in battles where only units with odd mana are allowed.

Pixie-Knife Hurler
Pixie-Knife Huler starts at level 1 with the close range ability, which allows it to attack from the first position. At level 2, it has the dodge ability, so it has a 25% extra chance of evading physical attacks. At level 4, it gains the Swiftness ability, which increases the speed of all allies by 1. At level 6, it gains the Enfeeble ability, which reduces the target's melee attack power by 1 when attacking. And at max level, it gains the heal ability, which allows it to restore one third of its max health each round.
A rare unit with 5 abilities, very interesting. It's ranged attack power is quite low for a 7 mana unit. Clearly, is a tank unit and will perform best in the frontline position with the shield from the archon ulund.

Chuma Marandu
Chuma Marandu starts at level 1 with the Sneak ability, so while in the backline, it will attack the enemy unit in the last position. At level 2, it has the Demoralize ability, which reduces the melee attack power of enemies by 1. At level 3, it gets the Retaliate ability, which grants it a 50% chance to counterattack when enemy units with melee attacks attack it. And at max level, it gets the Expose ability, which allows it an 80% chance to remove many deffensive abilities such as shield, void, deflect or immunity, from the target unit.
This legendary ulund is my favorite, as it is the most aggressive, although a little slow. Definitely, it will perform at its best in battles where only units with melee attack power are allowed. And thanks to its expose ability, enemy defensive units will not be safe.

Nyasha Mbalika
Nyasha Mbalika starts at level 1 with the Opportunity ability, which allows her to attack the enemy unit with the lowest health. At level 2, she gains the Inspire ability, which increases the melee attack power of allies by 1. At level 3, she gains the Return fire ability, which returns 50% of damage to the attacker when hit by a ranged attack. And at max level, it gains the Stun ability, whichs grants her a 50% chance to apply stunned status to the enemy unit when attacking, preventing them from making any movement during that round.
She's very fast and priorizes units with low health, but I still don't like this card too much. Anyway, it will be great in battles where only ranged units are allowed.
