Something I’ve always loved about Halloween 🎃 is the theatrical way society lives this day. Whether you believe in a bridge between the living and the dead, or you just enjoy the party, the “costume” ends up revealing a very real face. It’s a date that’s hard to ignore. The funny thing is, even though I love costumes, the genre, and all its quirks, I’ve never actually been to a costume party. This year wasn’t the exception, but I kept the tradition with my little evil headband (made by my best friend 👯♀️). In fact, I was just returning it after holding it hostage since last year 🤭 We went out to the park for a bit and, of course, watched a horror movie 🎬 Another Halloween gone by (or missed) without candies! 😂 And you? How did you spend your day?
Algo que siempre me ha gustado de Halloween 🎃 es la teatralidad con la que la sociedad vive este día. Creas o no en la idea de un puente entre vivos y muertos, o simplemente disfrutes de la juerga, el “disfraz” termina revelando una cara muy real. Es una fecha difícil de ignorar. Lo curioso es que, aunque amo los disfraces, el género y sus rarezas, nunca he ido a una fiesta de disfraces. Este año no fue la excepción, pero mantuve la tradición con mi cintillo maléfico (hecho por mi mejor amiga 👯♀️). En realidad, se lo fui a devolver después de tenerlo secuestrado desde el año pasado 🤭 Salimos un rato al parque y, como no podía faltar, vimos una película de terror 🎬 ¡Un Halloween más o un Halloween menos sin caramelos! 😂 ¿Y tú? ¿Cómo pasaste el tuyo?
