Para quienes no lo sepan la cantante Gloria Trevi en los años 90s estuvo perseguida por la prensa y los organismos de seguridad por una acusación de trata de personas. Tanto Gloria como Sergio y Mary Boquitas cumplieron condena por rapto y corrupción de menores.
El lanzamiento de La Gloria por el Infierno, el libro de Aline, fue un detonante para que la sociedad mexicana se enterara de lo que sucedía tras camerino. Y es desgarrador leer las páginas en las que Aline confiesa cómo perseguir un sueño, se convirtió en una pesadilla del averno.

Este libro fue bastante importante, salió a la venta cuando Gloria estaba en el pico más alta de su fama. Y cuando los rumores de pasillo empezaban a descoser las rarezas de ver a un hombre como Sergio rodeado de tantas niñas. En el libro, Aline relata primero algunos eventos claves de su infancia, luego el encuentro con Trevi y Andrade. La vida le cambió de la noche a la mañana.
Yo te recomendaría saber de esta historia antes de leer el libro, es un poco lento y sencillo, la intimidad de leer la historia de Aline valió la pena para entender cómo hasta el día de hoy, todas las chicas que fueron víctimas, siguen reclamando justicia.
Precisamente este tipo de historias son las que te hacen cuestionar: **¿Se debe separar la obra del artista?** Después de leer a Aline, creo que no podría hacerlo. Por mucho que me gusten algunas canciones de Gloria, su participación en lo que sucedió con las chicas deja una huella imborrable. Ojo, no dudo que Gloria también haya sido víctima, sin embargo, basta documentarse para que se haga evidente que no ha habido un acercamiento directo ni disculpas hacia las demás.
