Greetings, my dear friends. I hope you are all well, healthy, and happy.
Yesterday we enjoyed a very special moment at the Citizen Participation Library during its fourth anniversary celebration. We celebrated with an exhibition that showcased the work of all the artisans who bring this space to life. I have been part of the library's group of craftswomen for a little over a year now, and I can say from the bottom of my heart that here I have found a group where I feel welcomed, loved, and accompanied.🎂📚🤗
In the exhibition, we showed the creations we have made from February until now. Each space was full of color, and behind each piece there are hours of dedication and love. I loved seeing the cross-stitch embroidery, knitting, crafts, and all those expressions of creativity together, especially the mural in which we presented, on our burlap, what the library meant to each of us.💖
It was very meaningful for me to also see the work from the crochet classes I had the pleasure of teaching and the two-needle workshop I participated in on display. My burgundy scarf, knitted with patience and lots of love, was on display there, and I can't deny that I felt very proud because it turned out beautifully. The best part of all was the experience of learning, sharing laughter and advice from the wonderful teacher who taught the class.💖

Ayer disfrutamos un momento muy especial en la Biblioteca de la Participación Ciudadana durante la celebración de su cuarto aniversario. Lo celebramos con una exposición que recogió los trabajos de todas las artesanas que hacemos vida en este espacio. Desde hace un poco más de un año formo parte del grupo de artesanas de la biblioteca y puedo decir con el corazón que aquí he encontrado un grupo donde me siento acogida, querida y acompañada.🎂📚🤗
En la exposición mostramos las creaciones que hemos hecho desde febrero hasta ahora. Cada espacio estaba lleno de color, detrás de cada pieza hay horas de dedicación y cariño. Ver juntos los bordados en punto de cruz, tejidos, manualidades y todas esas expresiones de creatividad me encantó, especialmente el mural en el que presentamos, en nuestras arpilleras, lo que la biblioteca significaba para cada una.💖
Para mí fue muy significativo ver expuestos también los trabajos de los cursos de crochet que tuve la dicha de dictar, y del taller de dos agujas en el que participé. Allí lucía mi bufanda vinotinto, tejida con paciencia y mucho amor, y no puedo negar que me sentí muy orgullosa porque me quedó hermosa. Lo más bonito de todo fue la experiencia de aprender, de compartir risas y consejos de la maravillosa profesora que lo dictó.💖

I really enjoy the time I spend with this diverse group of craftswomen. Women between the ages of 40 and 80 gather there, all with the same desire to create and learn. The older ladies are a true example, always active, curious, with that wisdom that is transmitted through their hands and inspires us younger ones to keep going.☕💫
In the end, this gathering confirmed that we have formed a small family at the library, a space where each creation brings us together. I am grateful to have come this far, to have shared this time, and I sincerely hope that we will continue to share many more years together.💖🌸
Me gusta mucho el tiempo que paso con este variado grupo de artesanas. Allí nos reunimos mujeres entre 40 y 80 años, todas con la misma disposición de crear y aprender. Las señoras mayores son un verdadero ejemplo, siempre activas, curiosas, con esa sabiduría que se transmite a través de las manos y que nos inspira a las más jóvenes a seguir adelante.☕💫
Al final, este encuentro fue la confirmación de que en la biblioteca hemos formado una pequeña familia, un espacio donde cada creación nos une. Celebro con gratitud haber llegado hasta aquí, haber compartido durante este tiempo, y deseo de corazón que sigamos compartiendo juntas muchos años más.💖🌸
