Today's lunch was just the way I like it: simple, quick and with lots of flavor. My husband had the fish ready and I took care of the salad. I opened the fridge and found some tomatoes and a bell pepper that were fresh and full of color, so without thinking I grabbed them. I cut the tomatoes in big chunks so they would release their juice and the paprika in strips, because I love the way they look and how easy it is to eat them like this. A little bit of salt, pepper, a generous splash of olive oil and, of course, my inevitable touch: thyme, which gives it an aroma that fascinates me.🌿🍅

El almuerzo de hoy fue justo como me gusta: sencillo, rápido y con mucho sabor. Mi esposo preparó el pescado y yo me encargué de la ensalada. Abrí la nevera y encontré unos tomates y un pimentón que estaban frescos y llenos de color, así que sin pensarlo dos veces los agarré para la ensalada. Corté los tomates en trozos grandes para que soltaran su jugo y el pimentón en tiras, porque me encanta cómo quedan y lo fácil que es comerlos así. Un poco de sal, pimienta, un buen chorro de aceite de oliva y, por supuesto, mi toque infaltable: tomillo, que le da un aroma que me fascina.🌿🍅

I put everything straight into the fryer for about 25 minutes. When I took them out, the tomatoes were juicy and soft, as if they had melted a little, and the peppers were crunchy, with that sweet flavor that only they know how to give. To serve them, I put a bed of fresh chard leaves on the plate. The contrast of colors was a spectacle: the vibrant green of the chard highlighted the intense reds of the tomato and paprika.🌿🍅🥗
The mix was a delicious surprise. Every bite of the salad had the perfect combination of freshness and juiciness. The best part is that I didn't need a lot of ingredients or a lot of time. In the blink of an eye, I had a salad that went beautifully with the fish. Further proof that, with what you have on hand, you can prepare something tasty and beautifully presented.🥗🌿🍅
Puse todo directo en el airfryer por unos 25 minutos. Cuando los saqué, los tomates estaban jugosos y suaves, como si se hubieran derretido un poquito, y los pimientos crujientes, con ese sabor dulce que solo ellos saben dar. Para servirlos, puse una cama de hojas de acelga fresca en el plato. El contraste de colores fue un espectáculo: el verde vibrante de la acelga resaltaba los rojos intensos del tomate y el pimentón.🥗🌿🍅
La mezcla fue una sorpresa deliciosa. Cada bocado de la ensalada tenía la combinación perfecta de frescura y jugosidad. Lo mejor es que no necesité un montón de ingredientes ni mucho tiempo. En un abrir y cerrar de ojos, tuve una ensalada que acompañó de maravilla el pescado. Una prueba más de que, con lo que hay a mano, se puede preparar algo rico y en una presentación bonita.🥗🌿🍅
