We travel not to escape life, but to paint colors of MEMORIES.
Karaos Elementary School, explore the amazing scenery of Kapatagan, Davao del Norte in a DAy ๐

Hello, Hiverlovers! Be with me as I share my first-ever experience exploring the beauty of KAPATAGAN, Digos City, Davao del Sur.
My colleagues and I drew a plan to explore Kapatagan just for a day (see how we became DARNAs, traveling 6 hours from our place to Digos City), and here it is: We put colors on our drawing.
Knowing that this place is located at the foot of Mt. Apo where zero visibility of traveling is highly possible. It was very cold looks like we're in Baguio City wearing jackets, caps, and pairs of socks .. LOL... ๐คฃ
When you got here, this was the best spot you can ever see. Looking out at the wide field of cabbages, strawberries, potatoes, and cauliflowers.
Our first stop is at Camp Sabros. It was so amazing of the view seeing the horizon where the sky meets the mountain where you can see the side field planted of cabbage and potatoes.
Riding a cable car made our heart beat faster and faster but these two colleagues of mine makes us cry out loud as they conquer their acrophobia knowing that they are already middle age. Shouting and big laughter's was thier way to release their fears as they got at the end.
The longest hanging bridge I walked in my entire life (First Walk I has was at the hanging bridge of our university school way back year 2010. It was bit older than this). These was the scariest bridge, yet it has the perfect of scenery for us to reflect in our lives.
It was my first ever cable riding and walking at the 30ft. hanging bridge with my crazy buddy co-teacher.
Crossing from this longest hanging bridge you can see the beauty of our nature. The purity of the forest, you can smell the scents of nature, hear the singing voices of birds, and embrace the warmth of the wind touching your skin.
This is the best spot where you can meditate.
The second stop is at Montefrio Resort. In this place, you can see different flowers, pasalabong caven, and an overlooking swimming pool with spider web hanging gala. This place was perfect for a family staycation coz they have an over looking view like Maldives. Its rooms and cavens are airconditioned with spectacular veranda facing its mountain (Mt. Apo).
This is Sir Alvin embracing the beauty of cold freezing with zero visibility view of Monterfrio swimming pool. The hotel has a very demure architecture design perfect for any occasion concepts.
They have The Tavern side where the spirit of Christmas is still alive at the foot of Mt. Apo. Always the spirit of Christmas is present as you explore its wander.
Monterfrio Resort also has its tourist spot where you can explore different countries' iconic spots such as (the Eiffel Tower, Barn from Switzerland, Wings of Freedom, and other more)
A scenery of Millions of Hydrangeas or the so-called Millions of Flowers that symbolized arrogance and vanity (Look! how amazing Hivers! preserving the bounty of millions of flowers to promote purity and vanity).
A sneak peek of Windbarn that surrounds roses and carnations flowers. This is my colleague Teacher Ivonne, mesmerized by the beauty of a farm nature.
The scents of lavender fields with comfy to touch adds its beauty of this place. This is my colleagues our very kind and cute Ma'am Ivonne.
Look!! HIvers, the mountain at our back is one of the parts of Mt. Apo where you can see a sea of clouds. Big smiles are drawn on our faces as we reach this peak of view. Beautiful landscapes and rest houses surround this beauty.
A fairytale concept on this view with zero visibility of viewing the other part of the mountain (A Cinderella Carriage).
This is Jardine De SEnorita when you reach this spot you can see all the fairytale magic you ever read from a book and turn it into reality.
The coldness and the ambiance of Kapatagan, Davao Del Norte made you sit down reflect, and embrace the opportunities given and the gift of life to reach this experience I have. This day is one of the most cherishable moments in my life having one of member of this coolest group I ever meet in my entire career of teaching.
