Hello my dear traveler friends! It's been a while since I last posted here. Hope you guys are doing good. Anyway today I came here to share my experience in this weekend. Me and my two best friends have been planning to go on a day out like forever. But we never got to do that because of our busy life schedule. Cause if one of us is free then another is not. But anyhow finally we were able to find a suitable day which all of us are free. And then the next question came, where? where we can go to spend the time. And my suggestion was to go to an beach side hotel cause I love beach. And one of my friend suggestion was to go to a place in upcountry. So, we had discuss before coming to a conclusion. Finally after some time we decided to go to the upcountry area because it was more convenient for us.
So, we then started to look for a nice resort and finally found one. And it was this Marabedda Garden Resort. It was located in Dimbulkumbura village which is an hour drive from Kandy. And the drive to there is a mind-blowing one with beautiful sceneries. This Dimbulkumbura village is full of paddy fields, vegetable fields, mountains, beautiful water streams and many more.

And the prices there was also a reasonable and affordable one. Since there were three of us we reserved a Deluxe Triple Room with three single beds for a full board with a price of 33,000 LKR. The room had a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountain area. So we were very satisfied with our room.

Anyway, back to our topic, as we booked a full board we went there by lunch time. After having lunch we went to have a small visit to the area. And we went to this place called 'Punchi Lokanthaya' as in small world's end drop. The Great World's End Drop is situated in Horton Plains National Park in Nuwara Eliya District. And the one we visited is a small version of this. And this is the view from there. Amazing, right?
Anyhow after visiting there we headed back to our resort the spend the rest of the day. It was after a long time that we could get together like this so we had a lot to talk about. So that's what we did. And we didn't forget to enjoy some alcohol as well.

Anyway we went to bed in late night after having so much fun of our own. In the morning I woke up to this beautiful view from my balcony and it was so relaxing. A very good way to start the day indeed.
Since it was such a view I went to the balcony and took some photographs there. Look how beautiful the view is.
The other two are not morning persons but being a morning person I got to enjoy this view by myself. Anyhow after some along time I decided to wake them up cause we had to have our breakfast. Oh! I forgot to tell you about the food there. It was a buffet so we could eat as much as we like. And the food there was also very delicious. Anyway after having breakfast we went to our room to start packing cause it was the time for us to leave there. After finishing all the payments and all we stared to head back. We were kind of sad cause it was the end to our beautiful weekend. But we were all so satisfied with the time we had spent there and we were happy about that. Finally I want to say it was a good place for anyone who want to go and relax, specially for couples I guess. It was such a romantic place actually. With the environment there you can cuddle with your lover and relax. So, I'm highly recommend this place for you guys to visit.
