Hello to you all. Today I wanted to share with you about the celebration me and my two elder sister had. Normally in my culture we celebrate another new year festival other than the actual beginning of the year. This new year festival normally we celebrate in the middle of the year. And this is the festival we celebrate the most and enjoying the most.
So, in the festival what we basically do is we make different sweets in our home and we share them with our neighbors. And also another thing we do is we buy new dresses for ourselves and others and gift them to each other. That is so much fun actually.
For this new year tradition what my mom normally does is she sew us, (us as in me and my two sister) beautiful dresses by herself. It has been the tradition in our home since we were little. And she always matched our cloths, we were like three dolls to her. And also it was fun to wear matching cloths with your sisters as well.
But after we got older we were also busy and as well as my mom. So she couldn't carry on this for sometime. And another thing was her back pain.😓😓 She couldn't sew for a while because of that. And we were we felt so sorry for her.
But the good news is, after some treatments she recovered, not fully though. But she recovered. And we were so happy about it.
So, anyhow this time she wanted to sew us new dress and we were so happy about it. And this time we thought of doing something new. So we decided to sew some floral designs on my mom's dresses. And that turned out so much fun. We searched beautiful designs in the internet and asked each other opinions of those designs to choose a good one. And we compete with each other for fun saying mine is so much better than you🤣🤣. And asking other which one is more beautiful. That was so fun. I felt like I'm a child again.
Anyhow after lots of funny battels with each other we finished our designs. And we thought of wearing them on the same day so we could get some photos to remember this. So, on a family lunch gathering we wore this. And we got lots of comments from others.
These are some photos that we took to remember our moments. And I like the one at the top most. In that one we look so happy and natural.
Anyway I think I'm so lucky to have these two amazing sisters of mine. They are like two second mothers of mine. So it was so much fun to have some together time with them. That's all for today. By the way who do you think who has the most beautiful floral design on their dress? 😁😀🤪
