Amidst all this greenery, sculptures that spy on me.

 The best thing in the world for recharging energy and absorbing positive vibrations is nature. And not only that, but walking among the greenery, listening to the birds and being able to breathe fresh air helps to think better and even to solve problems that we think have no solution.  The sun's rays through the trees gave me warmth on this winter day. Very few people in sight and that left all the nature for me alone to fully enjoy. A place full of paths, trees, lots of birds, it made you want to lie down on the grass and just watch the clouds pass by or discover shapes in them.  I really like parks that have different levels, because you can observe the beauty of nature from different points of view, just like life itself.  As I was walking relaxed along one of these paths, I saw some pigeons in the sun.  I approached them as close as I could without them detecting me and leaving or getting scared. They seem to be used to people passing by and some throw breadcrumbs or special food at them.  On my walk I came across a beautiful sculpture with columns. Later I found out that there were more of them here and there and that they are the guardians of the park, watching me closely, observing me.  Each column had a small sculpture at the top, they looked beautiful in the sunshine and the clouds.  The landscape was enchanting, everywhere I looked there was peace, harmony and a perfect place for the mind to rest and for each of the senses to have that special contact with nature.  All the paths were full of benches to rest and admire this marvel or to chat with someone if we were accompanied. The sun's rays, that afternoon, were already slowly descending and intermingled with the different plants.  They say that green relaxes the eyes, and I think it is true, it helps a lot to decongest the eyes after a lot of work on a computer.  Near that place there was a children's park, I just passed by, but I liked the colours and a pigeon came to tell me that the sculptures were watching me, that I should watch where I was walking.  But I couldn't avoid being close to that beautiful artificial lake, the reflections in the water have always enchanted me, how they are drawn and blurred when the water moves.  In the place there was a sign with warnings, to avoid pollution and it explained that as there are many ducks and turtles there, people should only give them lettuce, corn and peas and please don't throw bags.  When I look up I see this beautiful postcard of trees in contrast to the beautiful sky.  And when I look back, a great variety of plants was waiting for me on my way.  On my walk through the different levels of the park I could find spaces for picnics, to sit and chat, have a bite to eat or just be there.  Many of these paths had railings on one side and trees on the other. It made for very cool shade and when it's windy it's a welcome relief from the wind.  I decided to change paths and when I came down from that level I sat down for a while to admire the scenery around me.  It was at that moment when I realised that they were spying on me, it wanted to hide behind a tree, but I could see it and it remained motionless.  It was then that I got closer to get a better look at the headless sculpture that was stalking me, but I realised that without a head it couldn't see me and I remained calm.  Then I saw a ramp, I didn't know where it led me, but it seemed interesting to take the adventure. And it was worth it.   I was able to take a walk at the top of the park along a path with walls on the sides and surrounded by various flowers and plants.    The sun was shining on the treetops, which were now at my eye level. I was at a good height.  It was at the end of my walk that the last sculpture was encouraged to greet me and told me that I was welcome whenever I wanted to visit them, that people don't realise that they are alive, but they see everything and their mission is to take care of this beautiful park.
