The city is decked out in festive colours.

--- >Joy manifests itself in various ways, not only in smiles, but also in the pleasant atmosphere, the decorations and, above all, in the colours, which have a powerful impact on emotions. ---  --- Once a year, the city holds a big fair, although there are always some festivities, but this one is very special. All the streets are decorated in some way, some more than others, but they all have some detail, as do the different shops. Above all, I see that the decorations are full of red and pink, which are very characteristic. ---    --- But there is one street where the dancing, the party, the people, the women dressed in traditional costumes, the flamenco, the flowers of all colours and, above all, the stalls offering different items are concentrated. At first glance, it seems that all these stalls offer the same things, and in essence they do, from flowers, dresses for girls, souvenirs for tourists, handmade shawls in a wide variety of colours and, above all, my favourite, fans. Meanwhile, when I look up, I can see the windows of the different buildings decorated with these shawls, which are different and beautiful every year. The main street is beautifully decorated, as are its street lamps. Those who know me know that I love street lamps. I find them very romantic and aesthetic, especially the older ones, so when I pass by here, I can't help but make one or more of them the subject of my photographs, especially if they are decorated with flowers. ---     --- But as I was saying, of all the beautiful things prepared for sale, not only to the many tourists but also to the people of Malaga, I am particularly attracted to the fans and shawls, and as you know, because I have said it several times, what attracts me is the artistry in them. ---     --- Not all, but many fans are hand-painted, and there are all kinds of materials. The ones I like best are the wooden ones; the combination of this material and the paint is spectacular. As for the Manila shawls, they are probably mass-produced now, but originally they were hand-embroidered and took a long time to make. There are still people who embroider these garments by hand, and I am amazed by textile art. They are true works of art in the perfection of the embroidery of the different motifs, especially the roses. ---   --- I loved going through each stall and looking at the fans, the different decorations, paintings, materials and, above all, so much colour. Each stall stood out from afar because of the colours of its products, highlighting the red, the joy, the strength and the energy of this colour. I always prefer warm colours to cold ones. And I always like to explain that each colour has a meaning, even the place where they are placed within a picture. When I studied graphology, I learned something about these topics; the teacher knew too much. Red is strength and pink is love, and I identify with both, which is why I like them so much and am fascinated when I see them like this in the streets. ---    --- The fair is now over, almost a month ago, but the people of this city are always cheerful, either because that's how their souls are or perhaps because of the bright sunshine. I love the atmosphere and the good spirits and energy of the people, which nourishes the heart in a healthy way. I really enjoyed walking around this place and even more so taking photographs.
