The city's historical memory park 📷 Malaga – Spain

--- >The first time I passed by this place was two years ago, and I only saw a large pyramid from the outside, without imagining that there were amazing wonders inside. But just seeing that pyramid aroused my curiosity; I had to know what was in that place, and like a good explorer, I delved into the investigation. ---  --- Of course, my great friend, the computer map, helped me find out what was there. I always discover new things, and that motivates me and I love it. According to the map, there is a large green area, too large. What I did was divide it in half and visit the place in parts so as not to miss anything. ---   --- To get there, I took a bus, and since the main street is an avenue, many buses pass by the place. The park is called San Rafael Park and was built on top of an old cemetery, a very old one, but that's another story that I'll tell you later, a fascinating story. I haven't found out much yet, but it's part of the second part of my tour, which I'll do soon. ---      --- This time, when I entered the park, I could immediately see the large pyramid, which at first I didn't know what it was, but as I got closer, I realised that it is a pantheon, the pantheon of Malaga's historical memory. A reminder of the many deaths that occurred in the Spanish Civil War and a tribute to all those who died. ---   ||| |-|-| ||| ||| ||| ||| ||| --- The names and surnames of many people are inscribed on it, and I felt that those lives were sadly represented there, but there they were. I walked around it and saw more and more inscriptions on all its sides. Then, in one area, there were ramps and stairs leading to a part where there were some doors, but they were closed. The pyramid stands majestically in the centre of the park and divides it in half. I had already decided that I would explore the area to the left of the pyramid and see what surprises it had in store for me. The surprise was huge. ---     --- I started my walk along one of the several paths to the left of the pyramid, all of them full of flowering bushes and lots of vegetation, but not much shade, so the heat was noticeable, especially at this time of year. The trees I could see were pines, but they did not provide any shade. I decided to walk around the whole place anyway. I saw a gazebo, headed towards it, and when I arrived, I was surprised by a beautiful lagoon. ---      --- The landscape they have created in this place is amazing. The pyramid is the centrepiece, and from every angle of the lagoon, because I walked around its entire length, you can see it as the important monument that it is. I feel like it's a park, but it merges with the history of the city. I always say there is so much to see and so important, but these places are not usually included in the tours offered to tourists. They only show them the centre, but the gems are everywhere. This is one of them. ---     --- I was enchanted by the lagoon, the ducks swimming there, playing and having fun. And around the lagoon there are rocks, plants, bushes, and a natural environment that is a dream. I have been a fan of Egypt since I was a child and for a moment, even though I know it's not, I felt like I was on the Nile River next to one of the famous pyramids. Dreaming is free. ---     --- Following the outline of the lagoon, I came to a rocky area that was accessed by stairs. Of course, I climbed up, and the views were beautiful. ---      --- When I finished this part, I realised that I still had a long way to go within the limits I had set for myself, so I continued my walk. I came to a dreamlike playground with lots of games, shade and lots of colours. I guess there will be lots of children playing there this summer. Many people ask me why there are no people in my photographs. I try to take photos when there are no people around, to preserve privacy, and I also like walking this way, as I can appreciate the scenery better. ---    --- This colourful playground led me to another, very unusual one, where the games were wooden animals, very original, although there were also swings, which were more traditional. ---    --- The playgrounds led me to a path that went up and up, and I decided to follow it. Every day I enjoy adventure and discovering new places more and more. This park seemed endless. From the height and on a path with flowers, vegetation and palm trees, I could see the path I had travelled, the lake, the playground, everything.
