>Everyday tasks are more enjoyable with background music, and for every occasion there are different melodies: novel, cheerful, melancholic, and some that surprise us when we hear them for the first time and resonate with us.

I usually have music playing around me all day long. I tend to choose instrumental and calm music because if there are lyrics or someone is singing, I lose my concentration, especially if I have to pay attention to an activity such as writing. I prefer songs with only music. Lately, what I have playing in the background are those videos where you can hear nature sounds, water, especially waterfalls, birdsong and things like that. They have the effect of helping me concentrate more, which is what I need.
>But on other occasions, especially when I'm doing housework or cooking, I tend to listen to a wide variety of musical genres, some familiar, others not so much, and some new. Often, the platform itself suggests great things to me.
I also like listening to songs in different languages, even if I don't understand them. If I really like the song, I usually look up the translation. I want to know what the lyrics mean, but it wouldn't be the same if it were sung in Spanish.

The first example I'm bringing you of music I'm listening to this Saturday is by Celine Dion, and it's one of the few songs she's done in French. It sounds very sweet, melancholic, romantic and beautiful.
I love all her songs; she's one of my favourite artists, but this song is special. Her tone of voice makes the French language very special.

I love the Italian language. My grandmother was the daughter of pure Italians, and I often heard her speak words in that language. Even my mother has studied a little Italian. She's very good at learning languages, just like I'm good at the arts.
Eros Ramazzotti sings very well in both Italian and Spanish, but I often like to listen to him in his mother tongue. He is charming, and this song in particular, where he pieces together a puzzle of a special woman to discover who she is, is mysterious and interesting to me. It is a great song.

Finally, right now I'm listening to this song by Sting, which, like the other two at the time, I looked up the lyrics to because it resonated with me and I wanted to know what it meant. It talks about the face of the heart that has no masks.
Music touches the heart, and I believe that the heart decides whether it is in tune with the person. Often, you may not know how to play music or understand the lyrics of a song, but it is simply in tune with you. This song is in tune with me.

This is an initiative for this community to make a selection of songs for Saturday. Here is mine, and if you like the song, you can do the same using the hashtag #saturdayselections. If you have a song that resonates with you today, I would love to hear about it in the comments.
Thank you very much for joining me today. I wish you all a wonderful weekend. See you soon.
Amonet.
