Water is the fundamental element of life; without it, nothing would be possible. I have always loved all natural environments that have water, whether it be the beach, a lake, a waterfall, a fountain, or a lagoon, and I am passionate about rain. Water can bring life to even the most inhospitable circumstances.
In this design, I wanted to make it appear as if a marble sculpture of a woman, thanks to being part of a fountain in a natural environment full of flowers and trees of all kinds, comes to life, with the marble disappearing and human skin appearing on her skin. It is a simple design, but nature always inspires me.
# Design process
The design was created entirely in Photoshop CS6, which does not use AI, with nine copyright-free images worked into 22 layers.
To create the background, I used two images of Japanese gardens, placing one on top of the other and applying a focal light blend to the second one. Then I used the image with the tree with red autumn leaves and, with the darker colour blend, I placed it to one side and selected part of the image of the water lilies, copied and pasted it into the design in two layers, placing them on the lake with the focal light blend.
Then I selected the vases and with a strong light blend I placed them to one side of the design. I also placed the water fountain in the centre of the design in normal mode and below or behind it the dancing water in two layers with lighter colour and texture blends. Above the fountain, in front of it, I placed the marble texture, erasing the excess that was not on the fountain and applying the focal light blend.
Then I selected the woman, copied and pasted her in the centre of the design so that she was on top of the fountain, and in three layers I placed different pieces of the marble texture on the woman's skin with the darker colour blend. To cover the woman's hair, I used a bush from the first image and placed it over her hair in four layers.
Finally, I duplicated the layer of the woman and placed it on the design in normal mode. Using the smudge tool on the edges, I erased certain parts so that the marble underneath could be seen, giving the impression that it was gradually transforming. Then I selected some rocks from the background images and placed them on top of the woman for a better finish.
The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

El agua es el elemento fundamental de la vida, sin él nada podría ser posible. Siempre me encantan todos los ambientes naturales que tengan agua, sea la playa, un lago, cascada, una fuente de agua, una laguna y soy apasionada de la lluvia. El agua puede hacer que en circunstancias más inhóspitas aparezca la vida.
En el diseño lo que quise lograr es aparentar que una escultura de mármol de una mujer gracias a estar o formar parte de una fuente de agua, en un ambiente natural lleno de flores y árboles de todo tipo, cobra vida, notándose en su piel como desaparece el mármol y aparece la piel humana. Es un diseño sencillo pero la naturaleza siempre me inspira.
# Proceso del diseño
El diseño esta realizado completamente en Photoshop CS6 que no usa IA, con nueve imágenes sin derechos de autor trabajadas en 22 capas.
Para realizar el fondo usé dos imágenes de jardines japoneses, poniendo una sobre otra y en la segunda colocando la fusión de luz focal. Luego usé la imagen que tiene el árbol con hojas de otoño rojas y con la fusión de color más oscuro lo coloqué a un lado y seleccioné parte de la imagen de los nenúfares, copié y pegué en el diseño en dos capas, colocándolos sobre el lago con la fusión de luz focal.
Luego seleccioné los jarrones y con fusión de luz fuerte los puse a un lado del diseño. También puse la fuente de agua en el centro del diseño en modo normal y debajo o detrás de la misma el agua danzante en dos capas con fusiones de color más claro y trama. Sobre la fuente, delante de ella coloqué la textura de mármol, borrando el excelente que no estuviera sobre la fuente y le puse la fusión de luz focal.
Posteriormente seleccioné a la mujer, copié y pegué en el centro del diseño, de manera que quedara sobre la fuente y en tres capas volví a colocar distintos trozos de la textura de mármol sobre la piel de la mujer con la fusión de color más oscuro. Para tapar en principio el cabello de la mujer usé un arbusto de la primera imagen y en cuatro capas lo dispuse sobre el cabello.
Finalmente dupliqué la capa de la mujer y sobre el diseño la puse en modo normal y con la goma esfumada en los bordes borré ciertas partes para que se vea el mármol de abajo, dando la sensación de que se transforma poco a poco. Luego seleccioné unas rocas de las imágenes del fondo y las coloqué sobre la mujer para una mejor terminación.
La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
