Hope you are doing great specially with hivefest now ongoing in Malaysia. This weeks Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Conclave Favorites i am going to share gramel the hunger combo with cryptic and a battle replay to appreciate why gramel the hunger is my favorite CONCLAVE ARCANA card.
WHO IS GRAMEL THE HUNGER
- gramel the hunger is part of the conlclave arcana card that was first given as a presale promo legendary reward during conclave arcana pre-sale where you will get a guaranteed copy of gramel the hunger with a minimum 400,000 points. That means you needed 4,400,000 points to have a maxed copy.
* GRAMEL THE HUGER - is a 11 mana legendary promo conclave arcana card. It has triple attack the reason it is very compatible with cryptic archon specially the poison added ability. At level 2 it has 2 ranged attack, 1 magic attack and 1 melee attack. It also has 1 armor, 7 health and 3 speed. It also has 3 abilities; charge ability (Can use melee attacks from any position), scattershot ability ( Magic and ranged attacks target a random enemy unit) and relentless strike ability (Attacks deal true damage. +1 damage if the target has Void, Shield or Forcefield).
# WHY CRYPTIC AND GRAMEL THE HUNGER HAS ONE OF THE BEST COMBO
Cryptic and gramel the hunger has the best combo due to cryptic added ability minus 1 speed and blind to all enemy unit and offcourse the added tactic which is poison ability (50% chance to apply Poisoned after a successful attack. Poisoned units lose 2 health at the beginning of each round) and expose ability (80% chance to remove Forcefield, Lookout, Deflect, Shield, Void, Void Armor, or Immunity after a successful attack. Expose will always remove Immunity first). When this added poison tactic ability to gramel the hunger and with gramel triple attack and charge, scattershot and relentless strike ability added with poison gramel the hunger can cause poison to 3 enemies in just one round. Imagine when an enemy was hit with poison it will cause them minus 2 health each round. Below i am going to share a battle replay how the synergy works well.
# THE BATTLE
This battle is a 54 mana battle against a very strong opponent with earthquake, fire and regret and now you see me ruleset. My opponent used fithe bladestone as his archon which is a fire team while i used a blue team. My blue team composed of cryptic and gramel the hunger synergy which is to unleashed poison to my opponent.

# ROUND 1
In this round 1 gramel the hunger hit 2 opponents miss one but able to unleashed poison to drybone megalodon.
# ROUND 2
In this round 2 gramel the hunger was able to unleashed poison to 2 opponent which is tasoshi drakamoto and arcane skinwalker that cause tasoshi drakamoto death at the third round
# ROUND 3 and 4
In this round gramel the hunger poison cause the death of tasoshi drakamoto. The collective effort of the team with taunt and corrupted healing sustain most of the friendly monster not to be illuminated.
### WILL THE INTRODUCTION OF LOVING THE MO GIVE MORE SYNERGY TO GRAMEL THE HUNGER AS COMPARED TO CRYPTIC
My thought for this is i was excited with the introduction of loving the mo. Upon seeing the stats of loving the mo, i see a new meta is coming . The posion is there as a good combination to gramel the hunger now you add blast ability (deals an additional 50% damage (rounded up) to units adjacent to the target) and magic reflect ability (Returns 50% of damage to attacker (rounded up) when hit by a magic attack) . Now you see a modern reincarnation of yodin zaku but it is on the water team. I believe the currnet price of gramel the hunger now will change once loving the mo will play in splinterlands ranked battle.
