New HOK Update: First Skin Purchase

Hello everyone in this wonderful community for gamers! I used to say before that I'm not gonna spend anything on a game since I was just there to have fun and relieve some stress. In this blog, I'm going to share how I ate those words backs, and from the title of this blog, I've guessed you have already knew it.  It's another season for HOK which means new updates and new events. The gaming platform is also very generous with giving away a lot of permanent and trial skins, as well as heroes. I'm really into the game because it's less toxic and I can understand the heroes, mechanics and builds better here. From time to time, I surely trying to keep myself updated with new events coming up even if I couldn't have time to play.  Another free skin!  Most of the time, the reason that makes me keep playing is because I know I can play the heroes well. Just like this roaming hero named Yaria here, though I'm not the core or marksman, I can still make it kill a lot and make a good performance in every battle. I'm very much happy to steal that spotlight everytime from those main characters. It made me unleash that evil laugh every after game. 😅   My fondness for these skins started with these two legends —**Hou Yi and Nuwa**. Both of them got separate events, not just them but other heroes too, wherein everytime you play and win, you can gain coins. Those coins, if you reach a certain number, you can use them to redeem those limited time skins, which I have already did.  I don't remember what event I got the skin for Erin, but it was sent on my mail because I was active on the nation clash event.  From the ones I received from the mail, among those were **1000 tokens** for limited time. As I was browsing some skins from the shop, I saw that I can buy a rare skin for Heino using those. That's how I got his skin. After that, I tried playing as him on normal mode but I still couldn't learn his combo completely, so I switched back to Roaming.  I have been seeing a lot of videos about Dyadia on TikTok, so I tried playing as her again. Gladly, I still know how to do her swift moves and made an impressive rating. So, up until now, she's still the one I'm using. Now, my current rank is Master V and that's because of her. I hope I can reach Grandmaster even just once, because it's really hard to earn stars right now.  One morning, I saw an update where she has a new skin also that is with the same theme as Houyi and Nuwa. But when I checked it out, there's no event where I could get it for free. I tried to be patient thinking that maybe they'll launch it soon, but nah, there's none. The cost of the skin is only 60 tokens and that's already discounted with all the vouchers I have earned. I checked how much that would cost me in fiat. When I saw that it's only Php 19, I immediately bought the skin. Currently, it's the only skin I have for her. It's also breaking what I have been holding on previously, that I would never spend for a game. It's very cheap and it's only pennies on my wallet, so I guess that won't hurt anyway.  I want strong heroes, but mostly, I won't just play if I ain't pretty.    I've got a lot more free skins! Since the season just begun, there would be more to go.  As you might know, Dyadia and Augra have past threads that connects them —symbolizes a story of love. At the same, they're each other's kryptonite. Here in this battle, Augran is my enemy and I really have forgotten that he was Dyadia's love. I want to win the battle no matter what.
