Hello to worldmappin.
Hello to all dear travelers.
I hope you are feeling great and your days are filled with good energy, new experiences, and beautiful discoveries ๐
Today I want to take you to the Qalejagh Valley in the Shirvan County. A place where its nature will leave you stunned and amazed, and it has incredible views. The Qalejagh Valley, with its beautiful rocks, winding paths, and delightful weather, is a great place for walking, photography, and feeling the tranquility of nature. ๐ธ
If you love nature, adventure, and discovering lesser-seen places, this valley will be an unforgettable experience for you. So pack your backpacks and join me as we discover these beauties step by step, and I want to share some corners of this exciting journey with you.
The route is like this: first, you have to get to Shirvan. I set off from Mashhad and was on the road for about three and a half hours. When I arrived in Shirvan, I went about 19 kilometers outside the city until I reached the village of Qalejagh.
There is a junction there. I took the right path, which is dirt, and that route leads you to a place called Fereydoun parking and exactly to the entrance of the valley. The other way is from the left, which is paved and passes through Qalejagh, and that also leads to the entrance.
From there on, you have to walk into the heart of the valley. Almost the entire route is alongside the river; in some places, you have to cross through the water and you even get wet up to your waist. The path is long, about 10 kilometers, and if you want to go all the way, it takes a lot of time. I was wearing suitable water shoes; otherwise, I would have really struggled.
The weather there is very cool, and especially in late spring is the best time to go because both the river water is abundant and the nature is lush. I really felt like I was walking in a little paradise.
When I entered the valley, at first there was a narrow river in front of me. The path started right next to that river. At first, the water was shallow and I could easily walk along the edges, but the further I went, I had to cross the water a few times. In some places, the rocks were slippery and I had to be careful not to fall.
Gradually, the walls of the valley became taller and the path narrowed. There were places where there was no dry land at all, and I had to go straight through the water. In some places, I had to hold onto the rocks and pass along the edges.
Every time I moved forward, the scenery became more beautiful. Small waterfalls, pools filled with clear water, and trees casting shadows from the tops of the walls. It really felt like I was moving through a green and cool tunnel. The sound of the water flowing was constantly with me.
The photos above are related to the corridor of the valley. The famous corridor of the Qalejagh valley. Many people had told me about it, that it's a place where the walls of the valley come close together and it becomes like a natural tunnel. To be honest, from the very beginning, I wanted to get there quickly and see it for myself.
As I was moving along the path, every beautiful view I saw, I kept telling myself in my mind: "This isn't the corridor, I still have to go further." The river had twists and turns, sometimes I had to cross through the water, sometimes from the edges of the rocks. Every time the walls got a little tighter, my excitement grew that maybe this is the corridor.
Until I finally arrived. A place where suddenly the tall stone walls on both sides came completely close together, as if the valley had opened a narrow mouth. Light was only shining from above the crack, cold water was flowing under my feet, and its sound echoed in the enclosed space. At that moment, I felt like I was exactly where I had been looking for from the beginning. I felt really good. I was flustered and didn't know how to take pictures to capture the beauty.
Honestly, reaching that final point wasn't easy. ๐
The path through the Qaleh Jaq valley was really breath-taking; the narrow way, sharp stones, and continuous ups and downs had really drained our energy. We had to climb over large boulders several times and then carefully come down again. Our legs were really tired and our breaths were heavy.
I was really scared, but the excitement wouldn't let me back down.
Because we knew that at the end of this path, a surprise was waiting for us. When we finally reached that narrow passage between the rocks and heard the powerful sound of water, all the fatigue of the journey was suddenly forgotten.
When we reached the end of the valley, I just realized that the whole path was just a prelude to this place! ๐ The tall stone walls on both sides had come so close together that you felt like you had entered a hidden corridor. The sound of water echoing between the rocks excited me more with each step. The green and cool water of the river flowed like a living vein amidst the hard stones.
I stopped, took a deep breath, and just looked at the grandeur of these rocks; it seemed like they had stood for centuries to shape this wonder. The narrow and winding path gave a real sense of adventure, just like the movies you always wished to be in. After every photo I took, I looked at my phone and couldn't believe I had captured such a picture. It was like a postcard.
This place was truly one where you could find both peace and experience adrenaline to the fullest. ๐คฉ It felt like we had discovered a great secret of nature. I was really happy and excited. At the beginning of the path, I intended to turn back, but the fact that my companions urged me to come to the end was a good omen and made me even happier.
But when I thought about the return path, I became more tired, but with the help of the very good companions I had, the fatigue of the path became easier for me.
This trip was truly special and unique for me. Every step, every twist of the path, and every view I saw gave me a fresh feeling.
I am very happy that I could have this experience, and I hope you enjoyed seeing these photos and were able to feel even a little of this pristine and untouched nature. Nature in the Qalejagh Valley is truly a gem, and when one walks here, they realize how much simple and pure beauties can refresh the soul.
Today, August 19th is World Photography Day, and as a small member of this vast and beautiful blockchain, I congratulate all the friends who work hard to capture unique and precious moments from the bottom of my heart... I wish you health and days full of success, happiness, and good vibes. Goodbye, and I hope you always have the opportunity to experience these pure moments. Until the next blog ..
