¡Hola a todos los hivers de esta maravillosa comunidad! En primer lugar, quiero agradecerles por tomarse el tiempo de visitar mi blog y acompañarme en este espacio. Es un placer compartir con ustedes un poco de mi historia, mis raíces y las experiencias que han moldeado quien soy hoy.
Mi nombre es Eric Enrique Sedeño 
Estrada, soy licenciado en Informática y máster en Ciencias de la Educación. Nací y crecí en una ciudad que, más que un lugar geográfico, es un tesoro cultural: Camagüey, ubicada en la zona centro-oriental de Cuba. Esta ciudad, declarada Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad en 2008, es un lienzo de arquitectura colonial donde confluyen estilos únicos, calles sinuosas que forman un laberinto encantador y una historia que se respira en cada esquina. Vivir aquí ha sido un privilegio, rodeado de edificaciones centenarias y una atmósfera que mezcla tradición y autenticidad.
Crecí en el área urbana de Camagüey, en el seno de una familia que ha sido mi pilar fundamental. Entre ellos, destaco la figura de mi abuelo paterno, Luís, un hombre cuyo cariño llenó cada momento de mi infancia. Él manejaba una rastra de combustible y, en sus viajes por la provincia, me convertía en su copiloto aventurero. Esos recorridos no solo me mostraron paisajes impresionantes, lomas cubiertas de vegetación, ríos cristalinos y la fauna local, sino que también sembraron en mí una curiosidad infinita por el mundo.
Desde pequeño, tuve una fascinación por entender cómo funcionaban las cosas. Esta curiosidad me llevó a desarmar mis juguetes (aunque no siempre lograba volver a armarlos), reparar pequeños electrodomésticos en casa y, finalmente, estudiar Mantenimiento Eléctrico. Mis primeros trabajos estuvieron vinculados a las comunicaciones en los centrales azucareros de Cuba, donde enfrentaba desafíos técnicos que alimentaban mi ingenio.
Sin embargo, la vida tenía otro plan para mí: la informática. Un día, casi sin darme cuenta, sentí un llamado irresistible hacia esta disciplina. Cambié de trabajo y me sumergí en los estudios universitarios. Mi primera computadora fue un verdadero "Frankenstein", ensamblada con piezas de equipos viejos, pero fue mi puerta de entrada a un universo que me apasiona hasta hoy.
La informática no solo se convirtió en mi profesión, sino en un estilo de vida. He tenido la oportunidad de trabajar fuera de Cuba en dos ocasiones, experiencias que ampliaron mis horizontes y me permitieron resolver problemas complejos mientras crecía como profesional. Actualmente, me desempeño como especialista en informática en el sector de la salud, dedicándome a la programación y al desarrollo de soluciones tecnológicas que mejoran servicios críticos.
Aunque ya no vivo en la casa de mis padres, Camagüey sigue siendo mi hogar, y mi familia, el motor de cada día. Soy un hombre que valora la vida, el conocimiento y las conexiones humanas, y ahora, me sumo a esta comunidad con la ilusión de compartir, aprender y contribuir.
Para mí, Hive representa un espacio de libertad creativa, intercambio de ideas y crecimiento colectivo. Aquí, espero compartir no solo mis conocimientos técnicos, sino también reflexiones, anécdotas y esos pequeños detalles que hacen que la vida sea extraordinaria.

Hello to all the hivers of this wonderful community! First of all, I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and join me in this space. It’s a pleasure to share with you a bit of my story, my roots, and the experiences that have shaped who I am today.
My name is Eric Enrique Sedeño Estrada.
I hold a degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Education Sciences. I was born and raised in a city that is more than just a geographical location—it’s a cultural treasure: Camagüey, located in the central-eastern region of Cuba. This city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008, is a canvas of colonial architecture where unique styles converge, with winding streets that form an enchanting labyrinth and a history that lingers on every corner. Living here has been a privilege, surrounded by centuries-old buildings and an atmosphere that blends tradition and authenticity.
I grew up in the urban area of Camagüey, within a family that has been my fundamental pillar. Among them, I especially highlight my paternal grandfather, Luís, a man whose affection filled every moment of my childhood. He drove a fuel tanker, and on his trips across the province, I became his adventurous co-pilot. Those journeys not only showed me breathtaking landscapes, rolling hills covered in lush vegetation, crystal-clear rivers, and local wildlife, but also planted in me an endless curiosity about the world.
From a young age, I was fascinated by understanding how things worked. This curiosity led me to take apart my toys (though I didn’t always manage to put them back together), fix small appliances at home, and eventually study Electrical Maintenance. My first jobs were related to communications in Cuba’s sugar mills, where I faced technical challenges that sharpened my ingenuity.
However, life had another plan for me: computer science. One day, almost without realizing it, I felt an irresistible pull toward this field. I changed jobs and immersed myself in university studies. My first computer was a true "Frankenstein," assembled from parts of old machines, but it became my gateway to a universe that still fascinates me today.
Computer science didn’t just become my profession it became a way of life. I’ve had the opportunity to work outside of Cuba twice, experiences that broadened my horizons and allowed me to solve complex problems while growing as a professional. Currently, I work as an IT specialist in the healthcare sector, dedicated to programming and developing technological solutions that improve critical services.
Though I no longer live in my parents’ house, Camagüey remains my home, and my family is the driving force behind each day. I am a man who values life, knowledge, and human connections, and now, I join this community with the excitement of sharing, learning, and contributing.
For me, Hive represents a space of creative freedom, exchange of ideas, and collective growth. Here, I hope to share not only my technical knowledge but also reflections, anecdotes, and those small details that make life extraordinary.
