For the next hangout, we will have @mathewdaddywah as a host. Last session, we discussed the topic: --- ### **Right vs Wrong. How does world polarization only bring problems?** --- Last week we discussed about a hot topic. Very general that appears over and over again every week. The problem of polarization. People just get attached to specific sides in discussions that require you to be part of the side A or B. So people are heated by social media and regular media in this bad fight. The community discussed how bad that can be and how we are bombarded by information that could have a suspicious source. The Community really hopes that these tensions will somehow be reduced in the future. --- **THIS WEEK'S TOPIC:** --- ## Unlearning ---  This topic will be led by @mathewdaddywah who we thanks a lot for the participation. We are taught many things growing up cultural attributes, our beliefs, habits we learnt while growing up, but maturity often means unlearning some of them. When it is time to grow, we start to build our own values and many of the the learnings that we gathered in the past probably need to be replaced in our potential life outside to build our own family. **Discussion Questions:** - Do you think unlearning is harder than learning something new? - What is one cultural or societal “rule” you had to unlearn, and how did it change you? - Is unlearning a sign of maturity, or just a shift in perspective? - Can unlearning ever feel like betraying your upbringing, or is it part of evolution? - What is harder: unlearning old habits or unlearning old ways of thinking? - Do you believe every generation has its own “unlearning” to do from the one before?
