Today, technology is advancing at a rapid pace. First of all, thanks to @sagarkothari88 for giving a heads up about this movie in our Indian community discord. I don't follow movies much these days and didn't even know this movie existed. After seeing those messages, I watched the trailer, and I was amazed by the efforts of their team. I then noticed that the IMDB rating was also 9.5 with about 25k reviews. I was curious to watch this movie and planned for today.
I just came back after watching this movie and I'm having a good feeling and a fullfilled expeirence after watching the movie. The movie is the story of Baktha Prahalada who is a strong devotee of Lord Vishnu. Anyone from a Hindu family would have heard this story, and it is usually told to us by our parents at bedtime. This is the story of the great Mahavatar Narasimha which was one of the avatars of Mahavishnu according to our epics. It was an amazing experience to see a story that we heard during our childhood coming to reality.
Since we have the technological strength now, it is possible to create such wonderful movies. This is just the start, and the movie team has mentioned that they are going to work on all 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu and movies will be released one by one. Sad that in many places it was not played well in theaters. But the collection has crossed more than one and a half crores already, and only now it is gaining popularity. I myself have informed to many people about this movie.
Today we have so much of gift in terms of technolgy. But even in order to use the technology very well, some kind of imagination is required. By watching this movie, I was able to see how the movie team has given attention to the micro level of detail. This movie did not deviate from the real story and facts, and at the same time, they did not even touch the not-so-clear parts of the epics where we don't have more information on some of the things. Since we are able to create animation videos these days with just prompts, bringing such great epics to reality is a great effort, and it is a great start from our move towards the animation zone. I'm glad that someone thought about creating the epics instead of going for a fantasy story that anyone can create.
The movie is almost out of the theater already. But I'm glad that they have had a decent collection already. For those who have missed watching in motive in theaters and 3D, they can at least watch it in OTT platforms when it is live there.
