We are under the urge or reduce plastic waste to a greater extent in society. To do that, we should go to any extent. Plastic is one of the biggest problems right now, and medical science is also identifying many unknown diseases for which we don't have a cure. This raises the question of whether excessive microplastic exposure could be a contributing factor. We are polluting our environment with lots of plastics, and that's why we have to go for alternatives or at least recycle plastics. This article provides some ways to make use of the plastics that we use.
Fabrics from plastic waste
Today, the fabrics that we use is having many plastic materials. In the process of recycling, they are converting plastics to fabrics that can be used for multiple purposes. These fabrics, even though are still plastics, the good satisfaction that it gives is that they are made from recycled plastics.
Paver blocks
Recently, I noticed that people are using a lot of paver blocks instead of having a full concrete floor. The main reason is that paver blocks can help in retaining the strength and at the same time allow water to go inside. This increases the groundwater levels. This paver block can be a combination of concrete material and plastics or stone materials and plastics, so that the material is not fully plastic, which is a good thing.
Tar for the roads
Preparing the Tar for the roads is an important thing. Currently, petroleum products are only used for preparing tar for the roads. If we find a way to make use of the recycled plastics to do this activity, it will be a great thing.
Garden chairs from plastic wastes
I saw some people doing a recycling activity where garden chairs are being made out of recycled plastic waste. This is a great initiative. Imagine the amount of plastic waste that we are dumping in the landfill. If that can be used to make a product that helps people sit and relax, this is a great thing.
Building bricks
This is the next trend after paver blocks. People are using recycled plastics as building materials. I'm not sure how they regulate heat and cold in the house, but thinking in this direction itself is great because building blocks are an essential thing, and we also have to get rid of the plastics that have already been used. So combining these two ideas is good to bring plastic bricks for custructions.
Carry bags and carrying materials
We already have carry bags and carrying materials built using plastics. The idea here is to use recycled plastics for this purpose instead of using new plastics for this purpose. The government should take some initiatives to ban the unwanted usage of plastics, and this way, the first production of fresh plastics can be completely avoided, as they are going to sit somewhere in this world permanently for another 1000 years at least.
