We have many software applications all over the world and the major players are Microsoft and Google. But in the recent years, Zoho products are giving a tough competition to Microsoft and Google. This is one of the primary reasons why people are moving more towards Zoho. The prime reason is the government backing because the government is trying to encourage products that are made in India and by Indians. We have done enough brain selling for the past several years. When freshers come out of their colleges, there are not enough opportunities for them in India and many people try to go to the foreign countries.
One thing that Zoho is trying to be different here is to bring the talents from Villages. Instead of having the head quarters in metropolitan city, they are keeping the head quarters in a village in Tamil Nadu. This is one of the biggest innovation because people from villages are getting a good future here and they are able to showcase their talents to the world. There are many big brains in Zoho that emerged from a very normal family or a very normal background with good creativity. Making use of that knowledge is what made Zoho a successful firm.
Recently people flooded to download Arattai application which is popularly known as an alternative for WhatsApp which is an application popular all over the world. I don't know if Arattai can replace the usage of WhatsApp all over India because WhatsApp is still the most popular application across the world. But government has given a lot of backing in India and many government offices have switched to using of Zoho products for their official use. This is a good thing because they are trying to promote made in India products.
The strategy of Zoho can be more interesting in the future. This is what I believe because they are already giving some best products across the world but they would like to have a good base in India by making the products cheap and attractive for Indians. At least that is what I believe can happen. There are already products like these in other countries. Especially in China they have their own products that works inside their countries and they even have restriction in using such products outside the country. I think something similar might happen in India since the government is promoting more Make in India products. Let's see what happens.
