MoonKarts Autovault - A Way to Generate Fuels

In MoonKarts, racing isn’t everything—fuel is. Without enough, you can’t hit the tracks in multiplayer mode. That’s where the Auto Vault comes in: it lets you make the most of cards you aren’t actively using. By staking (i.e. locking up) these unused cards, you can passively generate fuel. The more powerful or rare the card, the higher its fuel-yield.

Mechanics & Strategy
  • Staking & Minimum Time

When you stake cards, there’s a required minimum duration. Pull them out too early, and you’ll face a cooldown that prevents their use in races for a while. This encourages commitment and strategic planning.

  • Scripts Token Requirement & Upgrades

Alongside the cards, you need to stake Script tokens — the stablecoin in the Arcade Colony ecosystem. For every extra card slot in your Auto Vault, you’ll need 10 Scripts. As you stow more resources (e.g. Scripts and COLONY tokens), you can upgrade your Auto Vault to boost fuel generation capacity.

  • Fuel Limitations & Management

You may create more fuel than you can store—any excess above your fuel storage cap simply goes to waste. So upgrading cards (to increase fuel-output) and using fuel regularly becomes important. Also, more advanced or rare cards consume more fuel in races, so there’s a balancing act between your assets in the Vault and your racing setup.

Coming Soon: The Academy

MoonKarts is preparing to add The Academy, a sister system to Auto Vault. Here, you’ll stake cards in order to earn Airdrop Points. Over time, those points will translate into free drops of useful items—drivers, boosters, car parts, etc. How often or what you get depends on how many Airdrop Points you’ve gathered (which are deducted when you receive an airdrop).
