If you’ve been grinding MoonKarts like I have, you already know drivers aren’t just for show – they seriously change how your kart handles. Took me a while to figure out who’s worth the gas money, so here’s my two cents on all 8 drivers (and yeah, I’ve tested ‘em all way too many times).
Blaze – This one’s my go-to when I wanna go fast. Blaze gives you a nice lil’ speed boost, like around 3% or so, which doesn’t sound huge but trust me, in a tight race it’s the diff between 1st and 3rd. Looks-wise, Blaze’s got that fiery vibe that makes you feel like you’re born to win. Not the best for handling tho, so be ready for some oversteer if you’re heavy on the turns.
Aurora – Kinda the queen of balance. Aurora’s all about smooth handling and acceleration. I swear I drive cleaner laps with her, especially on the trickier maps. Fun fact (or maybe rumor?): some folks on Discord keep saying Aurora got nerfed in a stealth update… not sure if that’s true but I did notice she feels just a tiny bit slower lately.
Spark – If quick getaways are your thing, Spark’s acceleration boost is a lifesaver. I use Spark a lot in time trials ‘cause he gets up to top speed in no time. But yeah, top speed itself isn’t the best here, so you might fall behind on long straights.
Surge – Surge is the beast for raw speed. Like, this guy is all about pushing that limit. Downside? Handling is kinda meh, so you’ll need skill to keep control. If you’re still learning, maybe skip Surge till you’re comfy with tighter corners.
Drift – As the name says, Drift is your guy for corner kings. Better handling stats make snaking through turns way easier. Doesn’t feel the fastest but on curvy tracks, Drift often ends up on top.
Blaster – Heavy hitter vibes. Blaster boosts durability, which I didn’t care about until I realized how much bumping happens in PvP. If you’re sick of getting spun out by some random bump, Blaster’s your man.
Rumble – Rumble’s all about balance too, but with a slight edge on handling. He’s not flashy, but reliable. Honestly, feels underrated.
Titan – The tank. Slower on the uptake but solid on rough terrain and stable as hell. Some players swear Titan’s secretly OP in certain maps.
So yeah, choosing the right driver in MoonKarts isn’t just personal taste – it’s strategy. Try ‘em all, and don’t believe every rumor (but hey, some might be true.
