From the get-go, your kart’s performance is crafted by four main stats:
Health – how much punishment your kart can absorb before needing a cooldown;
Speed – your top velocity;
Handling – how tight you can take corners;
Acceleration – how quickly you reach that top speed.
Silver lining: if you know your track, your build, and your driver, you’re already half way to victory.
There are two ways to race. In Practice Mode, you’re free to choose tracks and experiment. Whether it’s time trials, adjusting kart configurations, or mixing and matching drivers and power-ups, you’ve got room to learn and improve on your terms. No fuel consumed, no pressure—just refinement.
Then, there's Multiplayer Mode—this is where things get intense. You'll be matched with competitors of similar skill levels; races are quick, with 4 to 6 players locked in. Fuel consumption kicks in here, and strategically gathering COLONY tokens and Orbitals during the race becomes crucial—not only for bragging rights but for actual in-game rewards. Don’t forget the power-ups: a well-timed Moonfire Missile, for example, can not only disrupt a rival but even make them drop coins.
