Community member @GUK (G_UK) has added two new whitelist polls for voting in accordance with the recently passed Poll Definitions and Parameters Poll.
The first poll is whether to remove DrugDiscovery from the whitelist. The discussion URL gives the reasoning here:
The project has been dead since Feb 18 with no updates since and the website is also dead.
This should tidy things up our end. We can always re-visit it if the project ever restarts.
The second poll is whether to remove Citizen Science Grid from the whitelist. The discussion URL can be found here.
The reason for removing this project from the whitelist is that for the last few months it has only been producing a trickle of work causing similar issues that were experienced previously with the Sourcefinder Project.
In essence, there is so little work available that only very few users can actually get workunits. This in turn means that if you are lucky enough to grab a work unit you get a disproportionately large reward for actually doing very little.
Both polls will run for 3 weeks (21 days) and have a validation requirement of 40% AVW to pass. This is in accordance with the passing Poll Definitions and Parameters.
