IT’S GARDENING TIME WITH COW MANURE

Hello guys, today’s job is gardening time. And to ready the pot for the plants and ornaments, join me in digging and gathering the natural fertilizer -- cow manure.   Cow manure is a very important component in agriculture especially gardening. Long time back when artificial and commercial fertilizers come into use, this organic matter has long been recognize and utilized to improve soil or humus quality and promote regular plant growth. Not only in its quality but also because of its diverse range of nutrients and beneficial microorganism that contribute to fertility like bugs, earthworms, beetles and centipedes. The presence of these microorganism contributes to the formation of humus which enhances soil fertility and longevity. Nothing fertile your soil like the cow manure. Result is evident when your crop yields healthy fruits and strong stems. Cow manures are also very good for veges. Natural manures are very good in preserving water within its particles compared to saw dusts and decomposed biodegraded materials. Now, mother plans to plant ornamental plants. This is her regular hubby especially when rainy season is approaching. As the man in the house, I do my part in carrying lots and lots of manure and soil for her to use to since I am not good in caring of ornamental plants. I am not also keen on non-flowering plants but I love planting trees and veges.     As you can see on the picture, our garden is almost dried up due to long period of summer season. We are currently suffering on water shortage and so the supply is scheduled only on alternate days and only about 2 to 3 hours. But this moment is perfect for the gathering of manure since the cow stools are pulverized and powdered due to the heat and raking of chickens. The manure is dry and light too which makes loading easy. Did you know that cow manure costs 70 pesos per sack nowadays while commercial fertilizers cost 1200 per sack? Yes, in our area, many rich people buy cow manure for their plants. Maintaining the quality and usage of farming areas. Today guys, I have gathered 6 sacks of it. And right after my work, I washed my feet and hands in order not to get rashes on the germs. And there’s no one to help my mother later on planting, just me. So, guys if you are fond of planting, I suggest use our natural fertilizer which is the cow manure to contribute to the preservation of the quality of soils.
