BDC shorts: Prompt of the day. Day 1

@bdc-shorts · 2022-04-09 15:10 · BDCommunity

We were blown away by the response we have gotten with our first shorts, so the BDC-short team would like to thank each and every one of you who took out your time to participate. Any initiative is a success when there are people joining in, and we are delighted to have all of you with us on this journey.

But before we begin, there is one thing we do want to talk about, and would like for you to read carefully

We have seen some of the participants using reward apps on their shorts posts, and we, as a part of bdc_community, strongly discourage this sort of behaviour. It's written clearly in the guidelines of BDC that anyone using reward apps on their posts will be muted in the community, so this goes out as a warning to all those who are using reward apps in their posts:

If anyone is found using reward apps on their shorts posts in BDC, they will be muted from the community. Repetitive actions will cause them to be downvoted, so please, refrain from using any reward apps on posts.

Alright. With that said and done, let's move on to today's prompt.

As we said that we will be giving you topics and prompts every day to encourage you; here is our prompt for the day!

We all have things in life that make us grateful. Maybe it's a person; maybe it's a place we pass by every day; maybe it’s a certain time of the day that surrounds us with peace. From extravagant big things to small little things, there are so many bits and moments in our life that do make us feel grateful.

So, for today, we want you to take a moment, and appreciate the things that make your life just a tad bit easier. So grab that pen of yours or open that laptop. Let's write about the things we are thankful to have.

  1. Shorts must not be, well, big. We are looking for posts between 100-400 words, so let's try and keep it that way, fam.

  2. Please use the tag #shorts on posts so that it's easier for us to find you. And if you put the word shorts in your title, then bonus points for you!

  3. Try not to write about the same topic/prompt too often. Mix it up and have fun; that's all we ask.

  4. Engage and talk to everyone. Praise your fellow short writers and encourage them to continue with their pieces. Let's all get to know each other while we are at it.

  5. If anyone is found using reward apps on their shorts posts in BDC, they will be muted from the community. Repetitive actions will cause them to be downvoted, so please, refrain from using any reward apps on posts.

Well, that's all, people. Happy writing!
