Donate One Dollar, Feed One Child 2.0

 Hello everyone and good evening. Before we begin, we would like to wish everyone good health and a prosperous future. We are launching our fundraising campaign “Donate One Dollar, Feed One Child 2.0”. This is our second attempt to provide some necessary grocery support to a few poor families for Eid-Ul-Fitr Day. Already two-thirds of the blessed and holy month of Ramadan has passed. After some days Muslims all around the world will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, a time of joy and celebration. However, for many people living in poverty in Bangladesh, Eid-ul-Fitr is a time of difficulty and struggle. While we Muslims adorn ourselves with new clothes and indulge in delightful dishes, for many, this remains beyond their reach. For the people who live below standards, especially those living in villages and slums, Ramadan and Eid can be challenging due to financial barriers. Prices have increased around 20/30% for every food item which made it more difficult for them. Nowadays people losing their jobs too. Due to the worldwide crisis, it’s very arduous for the government to solve the issues instantly. Fasting and celebrating with lower resources can be both physically and emotionally difficult, and seeing those who are more fortunate celebrate Eid gorgeously can only inflict more distress. Last year we collected donations from this platform and also from different sorts of platforms. We collected a good amount of money by which we provided necessary food items to 45 families. The emotions of those people after getting the Eid gifs before Eid day were heart-touching. However, this year we want to see the smiling faces again. By donating to our Eid-ul-Fitr fundraising campaign, you can help us provide essential supplies to those who need them the most. This year, we have a plan to support at least 30 different families with some of the necessary food items required on Eid-ul-Fitr day. *Approximate cost of minimum groceries:*  Our desire is to raise enough funds to distribute food packages at the very end of Ramadan as an Eid gift to helpless villagers located in Comilla.
