Welcome back everyone,

This week I wanted to dive a little bit deeper into Frontier — still having an absolute blast playing and slowly collecting to complete the set. Some of my summoners are now leveled up to level 4, but I’m still missing quite a few cards, so the grind continues. To be honest, I love the hunt. I’ve only bought a few specific copies to finish certain levels, but 99% of what I own so far has been earned through playing, and that’s exactly the kind of challenge I enjoy.

Since the team made it possible to burn extra copies for Fortune Draw entries, my curiosity immediately kicked in. I wanted to see whether players are actually doing this in large numbers, so I decided to dust off some old code from my card distribution tracker. Originally, I built this tool to monitor the unlocking of the Soulbound Chaos Legion reward cards, but that’s history now.

So I updated it with the new Foundation set and fired it up again — and voilà — we can now keep an eye on the Foundation distribution as well. As always, everything’s open source, so if you’re curious about how it works, or just want to tinker around with the data yourself, here are the links:

Let’s take a look at some of the raw stats for the Foundation set over the past few weeks.

Circulation

Circulation Common Rare Epic Legendary
06-10-2025 972,936 451,274 103,724 28,861
13-10-2025 1,062,913 (+89,977) 480,441 (+29,167) 108,716 (+4,992) 30,283 (+1,422)
20-10-2025 1,140,912 (+77,999) 505,720 (+25,279) 113,186 (+4,470) 31,618 (+1,335)

Burned BCX

Burned Common Rare Epic Legendary
06-10-2025 992,421 937,024 165,375 53
13-10-2025 992,554 (+133) 937,109 (+85) 165,473 (+98) 116 (+63)
20-10-2025 992,805 (+251) 937,171 (+62) 165,549 (+76) 146 (+30)

Let’s connect those burned numbers to how Fortune Draw entries are calculated.

Type Common Rare Epic Legendary
Regular 20 CC – 1 ENTRY 5 CC – 1 ENTRY 1 CC – 1 ENTRY 1 CC – 3 ENTRIES
Gold 1 CC – 1 ENTRY 1 CC – 3 ENTRIES 1 CC – 10 ENTRIES 1 CC – 30 ENTRIES

With the 419 BCX burned in total during the latest week, if we assume most were regular foil commons and rares, that roughly equals about ~200 (if it where all gold then its would be 2000 tickets) extra Fortune Draw entries being created per week right now. It’s not huge yet, on 66,000 entries, but considering the set is still new and players are hoarding to level up, it’s definitely something to watch. Once players start maxing out and extra copies pile up, I expect burn activity (and Fortune entries) to climb a lot faster.

Totals

Totals Total BCX Total Burned BCX
06-10-2025 1,556,795 2,094,873
13-10-2025 1,682,353 (+125,558) 2,095,252 (+379)
20-10-2025 1,791,436 (+109,083) 2,095,671 (+419)

So far, the Foundation set is adding roughly 100,000 BCX per week into circulation, while about 400 BCX are being burned. It’s still early days, but this kind of tracking...

I’ll keep monitoring this weekly just for fun and to see how the curve evolves over time. Personally, I haven’t burned any of my Foundation cards yet — I’m still in collector mode.

But how about you? Have you started burning extras for those Fortune entries already?

See you all on the battlefield
