Having arrived into the Bay next to Cannes on the French Riviera, this one required a tender port to be used

So onto one of the little boats that MSC had chartered from local firms to ferry people back and form to shore.

It was tempting to stay in Cannes and soak up some of the film festival atmosphere, but, there was something else along the coast that was gaining my attention, But that's for a later post ๐Ÿ˜‰

With the view over Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat it was onto to the spot of the next post, was a visit to the village of Villefranche-sur-Mer (which amusingly will be my tender port for my trip on P&O Azura next month).

I can remember riding the trin from Nice along towards Menton a few years ago and everytime passing Villefranche I was mesmerised by what I saw, so knew I had to visit one day.

And as time allowed thats what I did!

With an amazing beachline within the bay, where it was quite easy to have some takeaway chips/fries and just sit by chilling.

cafes and bars to eat and drink at a little further inward from this point if you want to sit at a table and relax there.

The village also has quite an active water activities areas with small boats and yachting as well as jet cycles to rent as well as a museum or two to visit a little further into town.

While I've probably not said much about the place, I feel that the images do the justice the village deserves at the very least and its very much worth a visit when the weather is like this for an hour or two as its a surprising hidden gem ๐Ÿ˜Š
