We were talking about the weekend a few days ago and completely disagreed with what we wanted to do with it; that's ok though, we don't always agree and having different likes and dislikes in a relationships is normal and healthy.
We're not unaccustomed to wanting to do different things but what we ended up agreed on was that we wanted to spend the time together which meant we had to compromise...which meant I got my way. I don't always get my way, that's not how compromise works, but I wanted to stay home and he didn't so we came up with some things to do at home over the weekend and we found a happy medium. Which means I got my way.

My home body is going to get some extreme pampering this weekend as I've received some lovely products from a friend so I'll be having long and luxurious baths and treating myself to some self-care. There's scrubs and toners, moisturizers and some really lovely bath bombs she makes by hand that will have me feeling lovely and soft and glowing.
We're going to make some nice food this weekend as well. Ok, I'm not making it, the man is, but I'll be watching, chatting and eating so I'm involved in some manner. We will play some board games and watch episodes of a show we're in the middle of and generally just be together at home. I'm looking forward to it.
