Before you take that life.

Life is tough. Life might seem even  unbalanced if you look at it in a way. Those who struggle day and night  working hard might not always be the richest or wealthiest in life. Those who are very smart and intelligent might not always be on top. The prettiest might not even be known globally. This is a mystery of life that no one can fully understand. With the ups and downs of life spring up many challenges. The Bible even states that… *” Everyday has its own troubles”*.  But is there any issue of life that is devoid of a  solution?   This has been a thought question on my mind since yesterday when I received news of a young man residing in my neighborhood  who committed suicide by hanging. Rumours flying about speculate that he owed money and was probably threatened to pay up hence his choice to end his life so brutally. Some t other rumours claim that he was possessed and he didn't do such with his clear mind. Whichever the case might be, I don't patronize committing suicide as a way out of any problem. The life that you cannot give why end it so painfully. From the little I have come to know about suicide by hanging, it is a painful and torturous death. The victim struggles for minutes as air is cut off from the brain. The neck snaps because of the tightness of the rope and the fact that all weight is hinged on the neck. After some minutes of struggling, the victim dies. What a sad and pitiful way to end one's own  life. My thoughts to share are simple. Don't bottle up your pain or struggles. Also don't wait for people to come asking you if you're fine before you say something. We are all busy doing something.  If you are going through an overwhelming issue, speak about it to your trusted circle. Reach out to people. You never can tell who might have a solution to that issue you are passing through.   It is said that a problem shared is a problem half solved. I know that there are people whom after you have discussed your issues with, will spread those issues as a topic of gossip everywhere, but look beyond that  because not everyone is a Judas. Love yourself enough to not opt to ending your own life. No issue is worth it at all. Be kind to yourself too, you are trying your best despite the challenges. You are not a failure simply because you are behind in life. You are loved. You are enough and you deserve to live.  ********** Thank you all for reading. Images used are mine. **********
