Back in 2020, someone requested the Hive blockchain icon be added to Font Awesome. It was looking like it wasn't going to be added and then I checked my emails this morning and saw that the request had been closed. I assumed maybe it was closed due to inaction. However, to my surprise, Hive is now an official icon in Font Awesome 5.15.
If you're not familiar with Font Awesome, it's a fully-featured icon library. It has humble beginnings as a font, but now has grown into something much bigger and it is very widely used. To be included as an icon is actually a big deal.
