How to use AI without losing ourselves

We all have experienced that it is quite tempting to use AI in the tech part of our lives like at the job, but also when creating content. But the problem that I see when doing that is that AI creates content as if it learned everything from a textbook, but never lived the words laid down. Starting from a perfect structure, going on with flawless grammar and continuing with a lot of words and ideas... but that feel somehow hollow. This happens because AI is thought to relay correctness and facts it knows, rather than a human experience or insight about the subject under discussion. I am looking to the followers base that I have established here on the Hive blockchain and InLeo platform and I like to think that happened not because I haven't ever made typos, but because of what I've written about, what I've shared, common interest and simply something that resonated within. Or maybe just because of consistency or appreciation, but in most of the cases I believe it happened because of a human connection that we've established through interactions and networking.

AI is now at our fingertip and it becomes easier and easier to use it. But if we want not to lose ourselves and keep our identity, I think that we need to find ourselves at the center of the writing process. AI should amplify our words and not replace them with a different thinking. Thus, we should always start with our own ideas.

This can be as simple as writing the title of what we want to write about. Than it should continue with listing three or more points on the subject that should reflect what we want to express within. We should see if we can include some of our own experiences if the subject allows it or at least our own thinking about it. Than we can use AI to fill the gaps and not create content out of thin air.

We can use AI to help us explaining a complex concept that we don't master ourselves. When we don't know how to express something in an easy way to reach everyone we can call AI to the rescue. From my experience with different AI services, free or paid, is that it excels at supporting tasks. Thus, we can use it for doing the boring stuff when creating content like additional research, creating outlines from our ideas or notes and even make a summary or conclusions. We can even use it to create new ideas from our ideas, but afterwards we need to own those as our words are an expression of our believes. If we embrace AI output, we also embrace the responsibility that comes with it. And we cannot use that for excuse that it wasn't actually me, but rather AI... if we said it, it is ours.

Most of us were not born writers, nor do we have the qualities to be great content creators. But if we are passionate about an industry like crypto and finance which got to a new level through web3 technologies like the Hive blockchain and InLeo platforms, I believe that we can all create engaging content where AI can come here and there to fill up the gaps and provide more substance to our ideas and thoughts. I cannot be against AI as that would be to be against evolution, but I believe that in order not to lose ourselves when it comes to AI, we need to be the ones that is driving the vehicle. And that can be accomplished only if we start with our own ideas, our own thoughts, our own experiences and simply let AI boost the message.
