The assassination of Charlie Kirk has opened up a can of worms around the world. It has triggered a chain of events that has led to difficult conversations and has exposed just the gap between political ideologies.
There's a massive problem in the world right now and it's being powered by two political ideologies jostling for control. Just like most fads in pop culture, this titanic struggle of ideologies emanates from the United States and it's spreading like wild fire across the west.
Donald Trump seems like the least serious person in every election. The first time he ever ran for office, I genuinely thought it was a joke to prove a point and boy has he proved it.

In an unusual turn of events, Trump, somehow, embodies the conservative views of the right wing. I cannot wrap my head around it because, for the most part, I was raised conservative and I can't see any correlation between the man and what he portrays.
Trump talks openly about Christianity, brings pastors to the white house and is performative enough to convince actual Christians that he's one of them. I'm not buying it and I'll stop there.
The other part of Trump's views is the "awakening" of the white man. This particular view aims to highlight societal biases against white people or at least something along those lines. I've gathered from a few political commentators that this view focuses on empowering "white people" and caters to things like racism and other forms of discrimination that white people may face but is often ignored.
Any form of racism should be condemned and the "whataboutist" will highlight how the far left has treated racism towards white people to justify the awakening. What is right or wrong? Frankly I don't know.
I know I don't accept extremist views and definitely don't support any form of discrimination, regardless of the motives or history. At the same time, I have my reservations about the far right's response, especially because I'm a foreigner living in their country.
I worry about the political climate, especially because people in my position end up being the proverbial grass that gets trampled on as two juggernauts wrestle for control.
